I know what I said in my previous post but I really can't help it 😗

Anyway! I had a vision of what this scene looked like (but unfortunately perspective or backgrounds isn't my strongest suit, so this would do)

The atoc worms are crawling in my brain rn

Probably the only player character I'm this invested in throughout my time of playing IFs... Mostly cuz of the great writing, love how the Crown is still a separate character with their own story that affects their thoughts and life (even if you do get options to choose how they respond to things) rather than just a blank slate (or maybe I just haven't found much good IFs)

Maybe I'll make more fleshed out art of him before being found as the Crown, I just imagined a human-sized scraggly rat based on their desc from the ROs lol

I love how the Crown and R's magical affinity really says a lot abt their dynamic in R's route

Like for the stars to shine, the sun has to set. Trusting R is letting them take initiative and use their ability to handle trials and tribulations head on, allowing them to grow confident without the Crown doubting them by interfering much

I'm just repeating what many have definitely already thought about but it's really cute to me on how the sun is basically a star too, so R and the Crown easily relate and mirror eachother in certain aspects

I could go on about how the Crown's first impressions of R would probably be how experienced and refined they seem before realizing how they aren't that different from eachother

I fucking love the two sides of the same coin trope.
