👿 The 12th House and Hidden Enemies 👀
It is worth noting the 12th is associated with “being your own worst enemy” which falls into the idea of undoing as well. When we speak of hidden enemies this doesn’t always mean people who are consciously out to get you. This can describe people who are unintentionally challenging or toxic. There is the idea that the sign in the 12th like Aries in the 12th or Virgo in the 12th means your secret enemies will likely be Virgos and Aries Suns/dominant people. BUT this is surface level, let’s go deeper.
Aries in the 12th House: “Hidden enemies” are honestly felt with unspoken tension and opposition. Unknown enemies go after this person’s sense of self. Frequently feeling like a victim but without knowing or realizing the source for the feeling is associated. Looking at this person’s Mars placement can be useful. Ex: Mars in the 1st can bolster conflict to the self. Mars in the 7th can indicate complexity with enemies being close relationships and the dynamic between secret and hidden enemies. Deception comes in forms of hidden corruption, feelings of wasted time or unrealistic goals/ideas, and people using you or you using others - everything is a means to an end. Libra in the 12th House: Relationships…. your hidden enemies are likely closer than you think. Team members, lovers, best friends, think in pairs- your partner in crime. This may be a good place to remind people that your enemies might not be intentional with harm. Before you get suspicious of your loved ones, secret enemies may be those who thrive off conflict, competition, and opposition. Enemies threaten your harmony and balance somehow. Secret enemies may treat you unfairly. Unbalance between intimacy and shallowness can be undoing. Placement of Venus can give insight into deception and relationships. Venus in the 9th can indicate over idealism and deception done by a role model/hero. Venus in the 10th can reflect deception or disillusionment from authority figures or the public.
Scorpio in the 12th House: This placement is known to produce a secret paranoid side, but the thing is these people have hidden enemies who are very sneaky, manipulative, and secretive. So they may have a good reason for thinking everyone and anyone can become an enemy one day. While betrayal, attempts to control, and vengeance are themes among hidden enemies; self-destruction and being your own enemy are very likely. While the scorpion is prone to stinging themselves let’s look at possible real enemies. Enemies are out to turn the individual against themselves. Enemies are out to harm with intent. Toxic people cause trauma or wounds, even if accidental - through possession, manipulation, jealousy, control. Placement and aspects of Pluto can give insight into how intuitive and receptive you are towards hidden enemies as well as self-awareness towards undoing. Sagittarius in the 12th House: Secret enemies can be zealous in their take down. The more subtle feelings revolve around disagreements in philosophies or beliefs. Toxic enablers of self-indulgence, recklessness, and rebellion is associated. Secret enemies mislead them/lead them on, give half-truths, teach harmful beliefs, and in general be a bad influence. Passion and arrogance from their enemies come out in spiteful bouts. Bragging and one-upping are themes as well. Placement of Jupiter can tell of clashing beliefs and character. Capricorn in the 12th House: Secret enemies likely threaten stability, ambition, status, reputation, and security. We see hidden authority, power plays, blame, guilt, and suppression. Harm or attacks are done in exchanges, calculated, like a game of chess. The enemy may be paranoid, believing the feeling is mutual. Enemies can be after their wealth and possessions. Toxicity is through coldness, control, and general negativity. Placement of Saturn shows restrictions and challenges to overcoming enemies. Saturn in the 7th can indicate reluctance to break bonds. Saturn in the 2nd can mean a struggle to look past security and possession.
Aquarius in the 12th House: Enemies are unpredictable and can bring out flaws or more so pain that is hard for you to recognize. Motives are out of their own pain and suffering. Watch out for secret enemies claiming they want to heal or help. They claim they are out for sympathy. Being used can happen. Illusions exist here. Enabling an addiction is associated. Addiction itself or victimhood can be the enemy. Neptune placement shows path to healing and processing. Sun in the 12th House: There is a battle about one’s sense of self. In terms of hidden enemies or toxicity the father is associated along with people in power. A hidden enemy will try to greatly influence this person. A secret enemy could also attempt to act like a father or person in authority over you. An enemy or more likely a toxic person will drain your energy - be an energy vampire. Hidden enemies can be highly selfish and arrogant. Masculinity can also be a source of toxicity somehow as the Sun represents “the male principle” or “how active your masculine side is”. Hidden enemies struggle with disappointment, criticism, and can impulsively misuse their personal power.
Moon in the 12th House: We can see the toxic side of femininity. Also parents, the mother, and grandmother can be connected. Thinking outside the box a secret enemy may be one who is trying to protect and nurture you but in an unhealthy way or nurturing gone wrong. Traits of an enemy or toxic person is lack of emotional control, manipulation, playing the victim, blame game, passive aggression, and always discontented/unhappy. Childhood plays a role. Lust, pettiness, heartbreak, and impatience for a lack of instant gratification are themes among toxic people or bonds. Undoing can come from going after comfort and security in unhealthy ways.
Mars in the 12th House: Another area for the toxic side of masculinity. Friendly or respected competitors/rivals may turn to enemies, standing up to an individual may reveal them as an enemy, and lustful crushes may end up as enemies. Toxic people can be disrespectful, bigoted, self-indulgent, and reckless. Secret enemies are selfish and may be focused mostly on their own beliefs and ideas. Their attacks are scattered and excessive.Toxic people hold back your growth, keep you ignorant, may try to close your mind, and can use spiritual teaching against you.
Saturn in the 12th House: Secret enemies can be people in authority such as a father, boss, grandfather, etc. Secret enemies want to control you. Being their scapegoat is associated. A secret enemy can be cold, negative, ruthless, greedy, may use fear, blame, and guilt towards you. Toxic people hold you back from success, maturity, and overall growth. While this is the house of undoing, toxic people in your life truly pull at the darkness within you- always bringing out the worst in you. It goes beyond a bad influence to ruining opportunities for you.
Neptune in the 12th House: Here we see corrupt healers, artist, musicians, spiritual teachers or leaders, and institutions. Guilt, deception, confusion, addiction, and impressionability are here. Enemies may never reveal themselves, if they do it might be too late. Secret enemies or toxic people play the victim, are martyrs, may force you to sacrifice and give, play off your weaknesses, keep you emotionally or spiritually dependent, and use intuition to harm. Reflection is here where many times toxic people could display the toxic traits in yourself. Co-dependency can exist between you and an enemy; both feeding off each other’s negativity. Secret enemies may never realize they bring you harm.
Uranus in the 12th House: Here we see a bit of a “bad influencer” trope as those who are rebels, outsiders, misfits tend to be secret enemies. Many times these enemies lead you to unpredictability, chaos, and undoing rather than purposely trying to sabotage or harm you. Misuse of intellect and power can exist here. Some geniuses, eccentrics, or anarchist can see you as an easy target to help fulfill their agenda. Toxic people may hold you back from freedom, change, and be discouraging to your individuality. Toxic people see rebellion only as a bad thing. Enemies can have superiority complexes, be hypocritical, see only the worst in humanity, is unstable, and breaks down things that are beneficial or secure. Enemies want to overwhelm you. Pluto in the 12th House: It’s all about power. Enemies are likely people who can hold great power over you or are powerful in general. A dangerous part of this placement is you may feel magnetism and fascination towards your secret enemies. Secret enemies want to control you and some want to see you be your own undoing. They fan the flames for self-destruction. They are manipulative, malicious, paranoid, and power-hungry. Leo and Virgo- Virgos are natural helpers that are able to trace back the source of a problem to fix it. If an argument arises, virgo will be able to understand how it started and will want to communicate that to Leo, but Leo will interpret that as controlling. A Leo will take any negative criticism as an attack on their ego, and will in turn, change to defense mode. Virgo will be intimidated by this, but fail to see Leo’s defense comes from a place of hurting. Virgo will run, emotionally, separating theirselves from the altercation. Virgo needs to understand not everybody handles a situation the same way they do. And just because Leo shows affection in a different way than virgo does, doesn’t mean Leo’s love is any less valid. When living together, Leo could often takes virgo for granted, failing to acknowledge the lengths virgo goes to keep life in order. The house is always clean, dishes always done, plans are always shifted in order to make time for Leo. Leo will try desperately to break Virgo out of their shell. Leo wants their significant other to be social with their friend group, and so they will attempt to introduce Virgo into a broad range of new people. This easily becomes overwhelming for virgo, who rather spend one-on-one time with their partner. These signs need to be more aware of the lengths the other goes to improve their daily lives. They have to experiment with new life styles instead of living the way they’ve been all this time. Leo and Virgo can only get along if they step out of the shoes they’ve been wearing all their life and try on each other’s for a day.
Libra and Scorpio- if an argument arises, these two will really know how to get under each other’s skin. Libra will naturally try to sweep the problem at hand under the rug. It will be much easier for Libra to forgive and forget, because it’s how a Libra moves on and clears their conscience. A scorpio, however, will demand confrontation out of Libra, and will be persistent doing so. A scorpio will not be satisfied until the problem is deliberated. A scorpio may be calculated with their attempts to aggravate Libra– anything to pull some source of emotion from them. Libra may catch on to this, which in turn, will lead to Libra pushing the entire altercation aside and attempting to move on with their life as if it never happened. This will get Scorpio even more fired up, and will provoke Libra again. This game could go on forever. Libra needs to realize the fragility of Scorpio’s emotions and be more mature handling them. Scorpio needs to learn that all grudges aren’t worth carrying.
Sagittarius and Capricorn- Sagittarius has a tendency to look at arguments as the big picture.This is what gives Sagg the ability to easily move on, but they often overlook the details in the process. With Capricorn, details are everything, and Capricorn can’t fathom how Sagittarius is okay with laughing it off when these pivotal elements of the argument are ignored. Sagittarius is experimental, and may see and do things just to see how Capricorn will react. Capricorn sees this behavior as childish. Capricorn is sincere with everything they do, even in a fight. Words and attitude matter. Capricorn will put their best foot forward and address what needs to be discussed or clarified. Sagittarius is okay with leaving ties undone or undressed. There is a clear divide in energy here. Sagittarius would get along much better with Capricorn if they took the time to dissect them inside of looking right through them. Capricorn needs to learn many things don’t matter in the great scheme of life, and they aren’t worth worrying over.
Aquarius and Pisces- Pisces will often interpret Aquarius’s lack of emotion as a threat against them.. The truth is, Aquarius feels everything Pisces does, but just restricts these emotions, and needs someone to pull them out. Pisces, however, won’t go the extra mile to pull these emotions out of Aquarius because they won’t know they exist. They will interpret every aloof gesture from Aquarius as a lack of caring for Pisces’ well being. The truth is, these two are both imaginative, with an innate thirst for experience and exploration, but they operate on two different planes. Aquarius can be a bit awkward, and Pisces doesn’t know how to interpret this. It can often scare Pisces into thinking Aquarius doesn’t care about them. Pisces has the “is it something I said?” mentality, and Aquarius may realize this, but be unable to let theirselves do anything about it. Aquarius may feel like Pisces’ emotions are too fragile, and won’t want to be left with the responsibility of preventing a broken heart. Pisces may feel as though Aquarius is neglecting their emotions and being blind to their sensitivity. Pisces, you need to communicate how you feel instead of expecting to be read. Aquarius is intellectual and will understand you most when you translate your emotions into words. Aquarius, you need to realize just because Pisces doesn’t directly tell you they are hurting, doesn’t mean it’s okay to not address. Go the extra mile to explore Pisces the way you explore every other new idea that comes your way.
Aries and Taurus- Aries, you operate at a 10. Taurus, you move at at 1. In an argument, Aries becomes distracted by something else you said, that they will abandon what they’re originally mad at, to come at you for something else. Taurus can’t keep up and becomes incredibly frustrated. Taurus is patient, and will argue about a particular point for hours until it’s addressed properly. An aries will be three steps ahead, barely able to remember all the things they want to say, as their mind is racing with rage from all different directions. A common argument that will surge between these two is money. Taurus will want to preserve it, save it up, be frugal with spending it. Aries wants to spend it, and enjoy it, rather than hold onto it. Gemini and Cancer- Both these signs are guilty of being ruled by the things that drive them. Gemini can be consumed by their mind, and Cancer can be controlled by their emotions. Gemini is turned off by the moody Cancer, and will feel as though Cancer’s fluctuating attitude is a burden on Gemini’s freedom. Cancer will be disturbed by how easy Gemini gets up and walks away from moments of sentiment and passion. An unlikely relationship to work out, but a potential to be friends if these signs realize what they can learn from one another. Cancer, you need to learn how to be a healthy kind of selfish from Gemini. You’ve got to be able to let go of past relationships and other burdens in order to work on being the best you possible. You can’t exist to help other people, and you can learn from Gemini how to separate yourself from toxic people and situations. Gemini, Cancer can teach you how to navigate more on emotions and instinct rather than your mind. ok so I’m I’m a Taurus (f) and for the past few weeks I’ve been talking to this libra guy and I’m fairly certain he was making movies (always initiating conversation, complimenting me a lot,making plans to hang out even though we never cross paths irl) but the past week we’ve just barely talked. Did he just lose interest? Or maybe is he misinterpreting me and thinking I lost interest?
