thinking of how sometimes PV has days where he feels so low and unmotivated to do anything which is when his partners step in to help him recharge and have time for himself.

golden syrup stays with him, curled into the bed as he clings to her. her soft hands run patterns down his back and up to his hair as she hums some far away tune from back when she was just a young and carefree. the covers are thrown off. they’re too warm for pv and too stuffy, he hates them in the moment.

lemon meringue makes sure he’s taking care of himself properly, baking small treats that pv can stomach down and helping to wash his body when his own betrays him. it’s a comforting silence between those two, and the familiar scent of lemon as they bathe coax pv into a peaceful trance only lemon can put him in. lemon kisses his forehead, tenderly and lovingly, as he rinses off the suds and dries of his hair.

black raisin is busy organising and being in the place of PV. she’s reassuring the followers that’s everything is alright and that pv just needs a break. she takes over completely, forbidding pv to pick up a quill and instead doing it herself. when she comes back from a day of doing pv’s duties, she finds him curled in the bed, with lemon meringue and golden syrup tucked up close to him, covers now up to their chins as pv was finally alright with it.

black raisin changes into comfortable clothing, and with tired eyes, golden syrup wakes up a little as she eyes black raisin. smiling, she gestures for her to come over, and she lets black raisin spoon her. all four go to sleep together.
