Okay, so… we know that karmi looked up to tadashi, right? it’s unclear if they ever interacted, but i can see tadashi talking/hanging out with karmi once or twice because he sees a kid genius struggling to make friends, and he feels for her because he knows exactly what she’s going through. hiro’s in the exact same boat, after all.
so he muses on it for a bit and he realizes ‘hey… my brother’s wasting his talent and has no friends… karmi’s at sfit and has no friends… what if i get hiro into sfit so that they could become friends???’
so tadashi launches his campaign to get hiro into sfit to kill two birds with one stone!!!! tadashi is the original karmiro shipper!!!

oh but if karmi and hiro actually get together, and hiro finds out that tadashi has a crush on you?? he’s 10x more annoying.
tadashi just casually namedrops you during a conversation and without missing a beat hiro does a much more obnoxious version of ‘aWw ArE yOu TaLkInG abOut yOur gIRLFRIEEEEEEEND?’ but adjusted to whatever gender u identify as
and if tadashi vents to hiro about his feelings for you hiro gets so smug because he knows he has relationship experience with karmi (to an very limited extent) so he jokingly acts high and mighty and puts on his mock tadashi voice
tadashi’s talking to hiro about his crush on you like
“they’re really, really amazing, and, I… I dunno. I don’t wanna scare them off. The burns, the— the baggage? I don’t wanna screw them up in a relationship. I mean, if I even get the chance at a relationship with them, y’know?”
hiro knows his brother is lowkey kinda sad about this and wants to cheer him up, so he puts on the mock tadashi voice

cue tadashi lightly hitting hiro’s arm while the smallest smirk graces his face 😭at least he’s smiling.
