alex got adopted into the vasquez-butera family at the age of six, during the couple’s visit on norway. he’d spent just a few months at an orphanage before his adoptation & whole new life began.
alex doesn’t like speaking of his biological family; in fact, he himself represses most of those memories. tw abuse all he knows is that his father was a piece of shit who liked to hit his wife and son; alex’s mom would sometimes lock him in his room to protect him, but otherwise she was pretty much helpless. tw murder the last time it happened, alex remembered that all the noise suddenly stopped; his mom didn’t come get him, so he stayed patiently waiting in the room. perhaps a few hours had passed before he heard police sirens. end of tw
his new lifestyle was drastically different from the old one. alex’s mothers had given him anything he’s ever wanted and he’s always been grateful for them.. though he was a difficult child growing up.
alex was impulsive, had a knack for trouble & was set on having all the fun he could, just because he could. he didn’t care for school, because in his mind it didn’t matter. girls & parties were much more interesting.
alex was known to throw some of the wildest parties during his high school years; perhaps the worst was the one he threw at home when his mothers were away for a few days because of work. it seemed like no amount of grounding or punishments worked on him - he’d lie effortlessly, pretend he’s learned his lesson then go and do it all over again.
while he’s still very much reckless & impulsive, alex has learned to take some responsibility now.
has no interest in fashion, so he opted out for studying law after his graduation.
