So here’s to some long study days and a conscious effort to avoid burnout (if those two things are capable of coexisting).

The only way to get yourself to do something you’ve been avoiding (painting) is to be suddenly faced with something you want to avoid even more (grading)

P.S this is from yesterday and I have (thankfully) started grading! Also that corner of my desk is starting to turn into a jungle 🥺✨
