Mishima is the most important character in the entire game:

He is the first to die however he just keeps coming back

Chapter 1- dies

Chapter 1 part 2- we have to find his head(which we are still missing his collar I believe)

Chapter 2 part 1- his ai version appears

Chapter 2 part 2- turns into evil ai

Chapter 3 part 2- seen I'm his ai version again

There's a repeating theme where mishima keeps coming back despite being the very first to die.

And the fact that he had 2 evil ais?? Pretty suspicious if you ask me...

When midori created that weird maple machine he put rio, shin and maple which makes sense since he would know them all but mishima??

Could this perhaps mean that mishima and midori know each other, like more personally..

He's still important to the story since we don't know where his collar is.

Out of all the main cast, we barely know anything about him.

For an unknown reason, you can name midori mishima(+shin) without being rejected which is weird enough.

His character is weird in the overall plot that it feels like there's something missing from jim

My personal theory is that out of the main cast, he is the closest to asunaro. Whether he works for them or not, I have no doubt he'll be brought up again in the last chapter

This is just some analysis but the logic route is infact the canon route or the memorandum route.

If we look back to the memorandum, all of the deaths line up perfectly.

The bestfriend that died in the first main game was joe.

Now for the man whose views most aligned with her is Nao. Hear me out on this. Throughout the game, both sara and nao are very close. Nao always protects and agrees with sara. They both have lost someone special to them and they both tried escaping death (Nao stealing alices/Rekos tokens and sara trying to do the same thing) They are both similar characters which is why I believe she is meant to represent the man whose views aligned with her the most.

Then the young boy who dies would be kanna as she was young.

I believe in logic route, sara will die in the 3rd main game. The only reasoning I have is that in emotion route, at the end of the chapter, we see Mr chidouin congratulating sara for surviving. However in logic, this never happens which means sara doesn't win.

We can also say that shin resembles the memorandum guy because of the similarities there. Even though the game is rigged in Sara's favour, choosing logic, will have her die just like in the memorandum.

Nao would've had a small part dedicated to her. I'm not sure what the second cgs was going to be used for but maybe at some point, we would've need to use the lantern on her.

It's kind of strange how nankidai worked on 4 cgs for nao but not a single one was used. Maybe Nao has some sort of importance to the game or we might see her in the next chapter who knows.

When I heard the theory that shin died when nao hit him with the pan, I wasn't to keen on it. However after replaying the whole game, I kinda believe that the shin we know is a doll.

My first reasoning is this scene

At the beginning of chapter 2-2 we get this scene of shin saying he's dead after seeing himself collapse with blood coming out. Not only that but after you chose to run, a hand comes out, possibly to grab him.

My second reasoning, might be a stretch but I'm not sure. Shins hands have been mentioned 2 times. Once in the last attraction, where you can choose to see someone's hands. It describes shin as having nice, clean hands. Then in the second main game when kanna says shin kept his hands clean. Like I said this might be a stretch but if he was a doll it would make sense his hands are really clean that it would be mentioned 2 times.

My last reasoning is in the kanna route. When you choose shin to die. He takes his collar of and tries to run out. In his death scene, one notable thing is the background.

I don't know how to describe it but the only time we see this background is when sara sees the joe ai and in the ai simulation tests where Sara's holding his dead body.

The only problem is that he's bleeding so I'm not sure about that.

Also I would like to include is his unused sprite. The one where he's standing up properly. There's 2 different versions of this, one with a stern look and the other one with a gentle look. I've seen people theorise that at one point shins doll would've been used.

I wouldn't be surprised if shin wasn't a human and actually a doll. There must've been a good reason for this sprite to be unused.

In conclusion, I believe shin is a doll and his real self died ages ago.

We need to talk about kurumada and mais relationship

I couldn't find mais but ingame I remember she asked how kurumada was with a worried look

Always found it interesting how midori is hesitant when speaking with shin

He doesn't speak this way with anyone else

I love the way shin and kai are very different but also have many similarities. Kai is aloof and absent minded. Shin is distruful and an awkward guy. However they both are secretive and know more about the death game than the participants.

They both had someone special in lives (kai with Mr chidouin and shin with sou) who had given them a piece of clothing that is red (shin just took it tho). I'd also like to point out how Mr chidouin and Sou are the exact opposite of them. In kai and Mr chidouin texts, he uses emoticons and acts very bubbly. Sou is cruel and mishevious.

In their last moments, they both refused to die by the floor masters and instead killing themselves.

I would love if people started talking more about their dynamic!
