Maximus x fem! Vault dweller! Reader

Imagining how curious maximus would be about your vault as you were the only vault dweller he had met. He had originally thought that monsters and mutants lived down in vaults and that's why nobody ever left them or went in there but that idea was quickly proved as false by you when you first opened up to him about what happened in there and why you left.

You had left vault 92 in the night when the people who lived there began to change for the worst when another musician has lost his mind and murdered three other vault dwellers. But even then the surface was no better in your eyes, people fighting over the smallest things and even turning to extreme violence when they thought it was needed.

All of this had come out when you and maximus had begun to swap stories after nearly a year of traveling with each other. He shared with you his life in shady sands and the brotherhood while you relived your experiences from before the war, what it was like in the vault and what you'd seen above ground.

(A little plus aswell that I've thought of)

+ maximus teaching you about how to use certain weapons and about power armour and you teaching him about music whenever the radio is on.

I've not disappeared!!! I've been super busy lately and have only just got a bit of free time, I hope this is good and I hope to post a little more in the coming months!!

Not a fic but I needed to get my thoughts out, after watching fallout season two and seeing cooper healing himself with radiation I was thinking about how he might possibly have a partner who is part of the children of atom and the perks it would come with for him such as an unlimited supply of radiation and he wouldn't hurt his partner by being a ghoul as the children of atom are immune to radiation.

(this part is slightly based on a oc I have who is a child of atom and is so irradiated that she is just immune to radiation because of that)

Another thought I had was that if he was injured, being close to his partner would heal him (because of the radiation) if he was injured plus imagine him just using the excuse he was injured just to hold you or be close to you.

After watching episode six of fallout today, I always knew that it wasn't barbs idea of dropping the bombs. And watching that scene back of when she says it you can see her uncertainty towards proposing that idea and how she looks up to the person in the window watching over the meeting (who I'm sure is wilzig) basically telling them "I've done what you wanted me too" and she looks up at them with this almost pleading look like she just wants them to leave her alone now that she's said that.

Just my thoughts on the new episode that I needed to put out there as I knew that she wasn't evil from the start.

A Nervous kiss

You and maximus had been traveling with each other for a while now, he had met you when you were still a naive vaultie with no idea how cruel the surface could be. During your travels you had both been mentors to each other with you teaching him how to be a little nicer and trusting towards new people and he had taught you how to better detect when people were trying to steal from you and how to use a gun properly.

But while on your adventures you had begun to develop feelings towards maximus, a loving feeling that made you want to stay with him forever and now these feelings had came out tonight after you had set up camp for the night in an old building.

You were sitting beside each other In front of a campfire when you started to really open up to him and tell him how you felt, he was caught of guard which you expected but you hadn't expected him to feel the same way as you. This conversation had led to you placing your hand on top of his and leaning in for a kiss.

The kiss was a nervous one with maximus not knowing where to put his hands or how to really kiss someone and you not really having kissed many people in your life yet it still felt honest and tender like how love should feel.

Thinking how the war would have changed cooper's view on relationships. He knows now to hold onto people a little tighter in this new world and how he needs to keep a closer eye on you just in case you get into trouble.

In the morning he would often be awake before you and take that extra time to watch over you while running a hand through your hair until you woke up. He'd follow you around the house and take in the way you looked, the way you would start you day and the way you smiled at him after catching him letting his soft spot for you show.

The wasteland had shown him why he should be cold and callous but it had also made him realize how precious and rare this kind of love was.
