Maverick no longer lives with me. He is with a nice family who has a little 6-7 year old boy who loves to play with Maverick. Seeing them play makes me so happy. Long story shortish and what I care to air over the internet, this wasn't planned or expected. Information from Maverick's past came to fruition in the form of this family. If you care to know more send me a message but otherwise just know that I'm sad right now but will be better with time and love. Maverick is happy and loved by many. I get to take him on hikes and camping trips if I wish. I may even dog sit when appropriate. But, I'm really sad right now and all I know is that I really love Maverick.

Morning Memos

My aunt sent me this when I woke up this morning:

“Im so happy for you macy! You promise nanay a red car when you're about hayley's age, and look at you now...well done mahal ko...i am so proud of...i love you so much...all your cousins will look up to you so thank you for being such an inspiration....”

Low key tears at my work desk.

I still cry every time I think about Nanay. I miss her so much and there were so many things I still wanted her to see. My biggest happiness is that Nanay passed knowing that I love my family and that I’m able to take care of myself as an adult. 

I’m the oldest cousin on that side of the family so being able to be a role model for my sibling and my little cousins mean the world to me. It’s a big driving factor in my work and life.

I love my family and they push me to be the best me possible. For that, I am so thankful. We’ve come along way and have had our ups and downs... but in the end everything comes from love.

My new glasses came in!!! Oh how I've missed wearing glasses! This week is shaping up to be pretty great. First Purity Ring, next my new car, and now my glasses! (But low key hella broke for a bit, haha)
