    Elatiana is silent for a moment, listening to her partner talk. Her heart flutters at her voice, as it normally dos when she focuses on it.

                       Ah, infatuation.

    “I do feel like trying to over-achieve tonight…”

    “Then we play the waiting game.”

Norava leans slightly to the side, resting her head against Ela’s shoulder, walking her fingers up her arm, nails delicately brushing against the darker scales.

“A somebody, yet a nobody. Wouldn’t want to attract the wrong kind of attention, right...?”

 “I suppose bureaucratic snobs are as good as anything.     Anything particular in mind?”

    “They’re all the same when they’re dead.”

  Her gaze sweeps over the room briefly before she turns away and lifts her glass nonchalantly to her lips, speaking over the rim of it, speaking lowly in Southern Thessian;

     “The unbonded and lonely ones are the easiest. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how snobbish they are if they’re desperate enough for attention.” Amused, the asari glances over towards her companion, lips twitching up.            “But I never said we can’t over-achieve.”
