seated figurine, marble; overall: 50.9 x 26.8 cm; italy, roman c. 100-200 a.d.
The oldest door of ValÚncia'a cathedral, known as Porta de l'Almoina or Porta de Palau. It's easily recognisable because, being the oldest part of the building, it was built in the Romanesque style. Most of the cathedral was built in Gothic style, with some Baroque additions centuries later.
