Cananga odorata is in the family Annonaceae. Commonly known as the cananga tree or ilang-ilang, it is a tree native to the Philippines and parts of Southeast Asia. This plant is cultivated for its flowers which turn from green to yellow at maturity and give off a strong fragrance.
