Finished trekking to ABC and back to Pokahara. Headed to Kathmandu tomorrow to spend a few days with family and onto Indi. (at Poon Hill, 3200M, Nepal)
On our way down to Pokhara. (at Pokhara, Nepal)
At 4 am we made our final trek towards #anapurnabasecamp. The stars here are like nothing I have ever witnessed and the sunrise at ABC was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. At an elevation greater than 13,000 I could hardly feel my hands without gloves, but the sun eventually came out and the view made our efforts worthwhile. (at Annapurna Base Camp ABC Trek)
Lakpa Sherpa, Andy, and I began trekking to Anapurna Base Camp yesterday. We slept in a village called Dampus last night, which was spectacular. My new friend Lozal showed me around the village and I got to live out a dream of playing guitar on top of a mountain. Even though the I had to wake up early Lozal and I stayed up past midnight playing cards and drinking whiskey. I guess that’s what good friends do, it doesn’t matter where in this world you might be. My body aches and my legs are sore but this country has been nothing short of beautiful so far. Much thanks to Lazol’s family for showing us a great time. Onwards to Anapurna Base Camp.
Lakpa Sherpa has been leading us in a trek to #anapurnabasecamp #Anapurna #backpackingnepal (at Tolka, Nepal)
Prayer practices in #Nepal. #backpacking #kathmandu (at Kathmandu, Nepal)
Heading to Kathmandu today. This trip wouldn't be possible without my mom and stepdad. I can't share my appreciation enough. Looking forward to the journey ahead.
Finished packing my backpack. Taking off for Kathmandu, Nepal in two days. Looking forward to the adventures which lie ahead in the next few months.
