Ship this, ship that, blah blah—nothing fucking tops the absolute chaotic and pure energy of when Usopp and Nami team up.

They’re wusses. Creative. Genuine and kind. They admire one another and never see the other as lesser for a moment.

They clicked right away and when Nami stabbed herself to let Usopp escape it really solidified that emotion so early on. That she made that sacrifice with him, instead of Luffy or Zoro who she went through more with.

No, it was with Usopp who was still relatively new in her life.

Usopp who would create her weapons through out. Helping her grow her powers the best he could.

The ones who met back up in a bar, being silly and sly in Sabaody. No time truly passing for their connection.

They’re best friends through out, and when we got that panel of them catching up in Wano…I nearly cried. They missed one another and each other’s company.
