I’m working on my Final Degree Project for my college, and my teacher was cool enough to let me work on a report about how people lived grunge in Barcelona, and focusing on the only concert Nirvana played in the city. One of the most delicate moments for me was asking the fans, music journalists and even amateur musicians about Kurt’s death, exactly 2 months after the concert. They were all very shocked. They all could remember where they were and agreed that they felt like they lost their own friend. And fuck, today I can actually understand them. This is so hard...

I was in class when I first saw the news ... I could not believe it. I still do not, neither do I want ... My heart sank, I wanted to cry. How can Chris Cornell be dead? How? Just about a year ago I had the pleasure to see him in his solo tour, in Barcelona ... and it was one of the most wonderful performances I have ever seen.

I discovered Soundgarden here, thanks to Tumblr. And I'm so thankful that you people guided me to find all their talent. Honestly, Spain sucks musically talking. Today none of the generalist media announced his death. It's so sad and pathetic. Ugh.

Today is such a black day. The wound is so deep and still too tender. I doubt it will ever cicatrize...
