Since I‘m trying to be a bit more active on here (at least post something more than once a month) here is an update on the Zou part of the Seraphim AU.

I have 4 pages planned, two if them with finished lineart (there will be more depending on how much shit Law‘s crew is giving him, I haven’t decided yet).

Now I lost control for a bit and tried out colouring but I‘m not sure if it’s worth the longer wait?

does anyone have an opinion here? It’s fun for me but also a lot of work.

Since I already teased them: here genderbent Ace, Sabo and Luffy.

Genderbending always helps to get me out of an artblock. Here you can find my old version.

I tried to get the vibes of old Gen 1 Pokemon art amd it was a lot of fun to use white as strong light.

Ace has a shot to get Dadan vibes and I wanted Sabo to look more french and to have an outfit that makes at least a little more sense (I have no plan when it comes to fashion but I tried) and Luffy is just Luffy.

You‘re so sweet! Yeah I‘ve gained a lot of followers through the Tarot card and it’s good to hear that my presvious art is still liked! (even though I think I improved a lot since them)

I‘m still getting used to my 9-5 job but I want to draw more again. Especially in the last few days people habe been so nice to me on here and that helped so much to motivate me. You have no idea what a few nice words can do. Thank you ❤️

Seraphim!Rosinante in Zou and Wano?

I would love to continue it! I have enough ideas and even some sketches but I‘m in a really bad state mentally right now.

I have such an artblock that the only thing that is kind of fun for me to draw is genderbent characters (this is what always works for me and usually gets me out of an artblock) but because of the hole I‘m in mentally I can’t even post those without immediately feeling like nobody likes my stuff anymore or genderbent characters are overdone. With continuing the AU it would be similar right now. I only have a few sketches and already hate them. I‘m a perfectionist if you can’t tell.

But there has been some renewed interest in the Seraphim AU, which does help to motivate me. We‘ll see. I‘ll try my best to get back at it.

I mean how hilarious would a custody battle with King be?

Loki as the Devil

I don’t have the energy to write a long explaination but in short: a big part of the Devil is that he is a scapegoat. That it’s easier to blame an abstract evil than face your own situation. And Loki really is a scapegoat. He chose that because that was easier than tell Elbaf the truth about Haralds death.

Perona as the Page of Wands

The Page of Wands signifies that you should take a move with excitement and curiosity for the world. His dreams are still a bit abstract, due to the inexperience and a little fear of the unknown, but he has the big picture in mind. It can also stand for good news and childlike, fun, optimistic and energetic behaviour. The Page of Wands also represents a young, playful person.

Reversed the Page of Wands basically highlight the negative sides of the traits the upright card describes. The reversed Page of Wands has a lot of ideas but is unable to get anywhere with them. It can also mean that you are lacking ideas or feel unmotivated. Also it can refer to a young person that is childish or spoiled. I really like Perona but especially during the Thriller Bark arc her childishness is apparent. It was hard to find a card but I think this fits best.

One Piece Tarot Bonus card nr 2

Figarland Shamrock as the Hierophant

I was so proud of the look of the throne in the Hierophant card and just had to do an alternative without Imu, who right now is just a black blob in the manga (I’m so hyped for a face reveal). So I made an alternative with Shamrock because he fits the Hierophant as well, especially in comparison with Shanks. The Hierophant is the card of the traditional values and institutions, an established set of spiritual believes and conventions. It suggests that you have a certain desire to follow an established set of rules and to conform to tradition. Reversed the Hierophant can mean, that you are feeling restricted and limited by too many rules or established structures. It could be the time to try the unconventional approach and question traditions. So I think Shamrock and Shanks are both in the Hierophant card. Shamrock upright and Shanks reversed. If I was a better artist I would have tried to make the card more abstract and put both of them in the design one normal and one upside down in some way. Alas, I‘m only a hobby artist and mostly selftought so no chance at that.

King the Wildfire as the Moon

The Moon generally tells you if something is not as it seems. It could be that a person or situation is not as it seems and that you have to trust your intuition. It might be in a sense that people are keeping secrets, but it could also be a warning that you don’t have all the information when making a decision. Part of the Moon is also fears and anxieties that are taking the best of you. It could be past trauma resurfacing and influencing your present. In the main deck I had Yamato on this card but I also think King fits it. He is keeping his identity a secret and his trauma definitely influences his desicion making.

King of Pentacles

The King of Pentacles represents reaching your goals, hard work paying off, material wealth and success. He used his ambition to grow abundance out of practically nothing. He is on top of his business and succeeds in his investments. Doflamingo fits here in a bit of a twisted way. He did achieve his goals (for now) via smart “investment”, just he wasn’t very nice about it. The King of Pentacles also can take the form of an fatherly figure that provides you with wisdom in worldly matters and guides you. Arguably, Doflamingo had this role in the lives of a lot of the children in his crew. Crazy guy, but I just couldn’t find a better fit for a twisted King of Pentacles.

Queen of Pentacles

The Queen of Pentacles is the ultimate hard working parent. She is successful in a family oriented way, but also as a business-woman. She is good at home-making, cooking, cleaning, taking care of the children, but also the ultimate working parent. She can balance out her career with her family. It is also a card of wealth and prosperity. I chose Queen Otohime here because she can do both. Fighting for equality while being an amazing mother.

Knight of Pentacles

The Knight of Pentacles stands for hard work and responsibility, determination, duty and perseverance. He is committed to his work, fiercely loyal and make sure the job is completed properly. It means that your are working methodically towards your goals and sticking to your schedule. Your are not quickly but consistent and if you stick to your routines, you will reach your goals. I chose Stussy, the Vegapunk clone version, since was basically his long term spy. She was a CP agent and an underworld figure, but in the end loyal to Vegapunk and his cause. I think there is a lot of other characters that would fit this card as well, especially knight, soldiers, agents etc. but there is so few women in One Piece in the first place, so I decided to draw her here.

Page of Pentacles

The Page of Pentacles is a sign of good news in things such as money, career or health. It stands for new opportunities and having a good start for future success. It stands that you have the motivation to start working towards your dreams, to bring ideas into the physical world. I chose to draw Momonosuke here, because his return to Wano brings a new beginning after two decades of torment. With Wano as the land Pluton is hidden in, Momo also is part of a movements towards a new future in a global sense.

Completely forgot to post the rest of the swords! I like the new versions of King and Queen way more. Especially Aokijis new card is so cool. (ba dum tss) But both of the Knights… I think the old Lucci card is better.

Ten of Pentacles

If you get the Ten of Pentacles, that means you have reached a point of satisfaction and completion in your life. It is the result of a successful career of smart investment or commitment to a long-term relationship. It’s a permanent foundation for the future. It also holds an aspect of domestic harmony and family. That your life is settled and you can trace your legacy. Even though I find it a bit disappointing that Shakky just ended up being the damsel in distress for Rayleigh, I think they are a really cute couple. Shakky got the man she always wanted and they are the only couple that got to settle down and are still together after all these years. Shakky has her bar, a job she likes, with the man she loves.
