The Flossies are a band out of the Navajo Nation in Arizona. They play indie garage rock with their own unique approach and they fucking rock. I am great friends with the band members and after watching them perform for the first time last Fall I had to get them in the studio to cut a record. So after I enjoyed their set I reached out to the guys about tracking.
After a few months flew by, we scored a perfect weekend to hit record in February. We recorded Impression at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in three six hour-long sessions. When recording and overdubs were finished, it was time to crunch on the the production. Unfortunately it took longer than planned, due to circumstances that held me back, but on July 9 Impression was self-released.
It is a great honor to be the sole engineer and producer of this album and I am overjoyed with the work we achieved. A big thanks and shoutout to Brandon, Chow, Kent and Nollz!
