easy 3 - creature / Heavy Gyroscope is 10 years old!
My first release as easy 3 came out 10 years ago yesterday!
This blog, Heavy Gyroscope, is named after one of the tracks included on this demo album. I began using Tumblr in June 2011 with a plan to promote the release of ‘creature’, which I released about a month later, July 16 2011.
Somewhat raw sounding by modern standards, I released this eclectic collection of largely unmixed beats on CD. It contains a few obscure loops and samples but is mostly original music. I’ve now uploaded the album in full on Youtube. Enjoy!

Space Between
I race the full moon from Kennedy to Heathrow.
I sip prosecco from a plastic flute. Hover between ocean and sky,
departure and arrival. yesterday and tomorrow, where the present isn’t.
