What is Aughost?

Aughost is a writing-focused event for ukagaka. The goal is to write more for your ghost during the month of August. 100 writing prompts are provided to assist with this goal, but the prompts are optional, and how much work you take on and how you do it is up to you.

The event is primarily hosted from my website, and you can find listings for all of the previous and ongoing events there.

The event prompts are also posted on this blog (or at least that is the plan), to make it easier to follow along on Tumblr.

Anyone is welcome to join in!

Aughost is now over! That was the end of the prompts. If you made anything, I'd love to see it! Feel free to use the #Aughost or #Aughost 2025 tags to share.

And of course, if you're still working on the prompts (or are reading this sometime in the future), they'll all still be available on the event's page on my website, as well as the event's page on the Ukagaka Dream Team Wiki.
