Story context
“50 years after “The Grand Blast” of 1833, everything related to “life” is a challenge. Among most of the traditional chores, breathing clean air, at ground level, is still a scarce commodity. Only the most resilient creatures have managed to adapt and develop the necessary technology with means to remain strong in their endeavours. As one carries on with the prospect of surviving, in this wold county, devoid of most human traits, not that it has ever made any difference, in this particular region, the main goal, each day, is to make it… ´till the end of the day”…
Contexto
“50 anos depois do “Grande Estouro” de 1833, tudo relacionado à “vida” é um desafio. Entre a maioria dos afazeres tradicionais, respirar ar puro, ao nível do solo, ainda é um bem escasso. Apenas as criaturas mais resilientes conseguiram se adaptar e desenvolver tecnologia com meios necessários para se manterem determinados nesse empreendimento. Enquanto prosseguem na perspectiva de sobreviver, neste concelho agreste, desprovido dos mais nobres traços humanos, não que isso tenha alguma vez feito diferença, nesta região em particular, o principal objetivo, cada dia, é existir… ´até ao fim do dia”…
Contexte
“50 ans après «La Grande Explosion» de 1833, tout ce qui concerne “la vie” est un défi. Parmi la plupart des corvées traditionnelles, respirer de l'air pur, à la surface, est encore une denrée rare. Seules les créatures les plus résistantes ont réussi à s'adapter et à développer la technologie avec les moyens nécessaires pour resister dans leurs efforts. Alors que chacun continue avec sa perspective de survie, dans le comté, dépourvu de la majorité des traits humains, bien que cela n'ai jamais fait de différence, particulièrement dans cette région, l'objectif principal, chaque jour, est de durer… jusqu'à la fin de la journée”…
