i feel that there should be a universal collection of Ukraine culture. Everyone is moving, sadly.  We need stories, folklore, recipes, art, customs, traditions, traditional design to be put in a resource for the future until the country can be reunited. Not sure how to go about this. Please pm or link things in your likes.  Thank you.

Go with the Glow

“The inspiration for the jewellery series “Go with the Glow” stems from capturing the moving moments in the natural world. I was deeply attracted by free-swimming marine animal. For example jellyfish, which is soft, light, and glowing with the characteristics of amazing colours. I was also fascinated by dancing, rave party and laser light show.I developed my work by experimenting with acrylic, moving beads, UV reactive nylon wire, UV light and fluorescent paints resulting in light-weighted tactile, colourful and playful pieces”.

Scanning electron microscope images of plant seeds and pollen.  Original samples are spluttered with a fine coating of gold and photographed on a scanning electron microscope. The resulting images are re-mastered using subtle washes and layers of colour to enhance their forms and reveal complex and fragile structural characteristics with astonishing clarity.

This poster was produced by Robert (Bob) Fried to advertise a performance at the Avalon Ballroom, San Francisco.  This poster advertises a concert held 22-24 September, 1967 which saw the Charlatans and Buddy Guy taking the stage, with lights provided by the North American Ibis Alchemical Company. This poster is from series 83, produced by the Family Dog collective.
