BACKSTORY
aurora grew up almost sheltered from the rest of the world. with very little friends except close family including siblings and cousins. her family deemed it better for her to be a bit more sheltered as not to put her in any unnecessary danger.

her relationship with her father was basically loveless. he thought love was synonymous with the bloodย money he spoiled her with. aurora obviously lived her life through rose colored glasses and fell into the spot exactly where her family wanted her.
due to going to an extreme length to keep his daughter sheltered from the world, he sent her to one of the most prestigious academies in new york city. she graduated with a class of six and each of them got into an ivy league.
her father raged when he learned of her plans. unbeknownst to him, sheโd planned on becoming a surgeon since she saw her mother brought out on a stretcher after yet another fight with her father. once again proof that the life of women in the mafia is far from glamourous. she was promised a life of complete loyalty and being spoiled by a man while her father spent constant nights bringing in woman to sleep with him in the guest room.
