Sharing, although I am sure most of you have read what Benji wrote for the CD booklet:

So I'm sitting here, once again, trying to figure out how to write the thank you notes for another album and can't really find the right place to start... So I guess I will start by saying THANK YOU.

What a blessing it has been to make this Madden Brothers record - to have the time and freedom to take this journey is one of the greatest experiences we will ever have. It isn't often that you have a dream and actually get to see that dream come to life. When it does, you have to take a step back and just look for a moment and appreciate it. The last 14 years have been a pretty wild and wonderful ride and we'd be foolish to think that it would have been possible without the help of all the ones we love... our friends and family, our supporters in the industry, especially each one of YOU.

This record was made with great care and high hopes of spreading some good positive vibes out into the world... to add something of value and meaning into the music of today. This was a record we had to make for ourselves just as much as for the fans who wanted to hear what we had to say all these years later. With one common thread - We have always been trying to convey the same message with all of the music we have ever made. HOPE.

Joel and I reminisce about one winter that was particularly hard for our family. We were living out in the country and the little house we lived in had no heat for most of the winter. Each night while we huddled together in our bed in our winter coats, shivering from the could, we laughed and talked about how awesome it would be one day when we got a record deal and moved to California. That was OUR dream and the records we were listening to at the time were the soundtrack of all those possibilities. Well, the story goes that us and few friends from school got to live out those dreams and here we are today, sending everyone who has cheered us on a post card from the other side. Hoping that it reaches the ones who need it most - and all the good vibrations encourage and motivate you through the tougher times in your own life - no matter how small the town or how could the winter - you might see that we all have endless possibilities.

Then & Now - 13 Years of Aussie Good Charlotte

AussieGoodCharlotte.com has always been a basic HTML site. Simple, a little sloppy but always representing (that's what matters, right?).

A few random facts:

I was 15 when the site was created and launched.

The original URL was angelfire.com/band2/aussiegc

AGC was listed on the official Good Charlotte site in 2001, under the 'Australia' category, up until the site went through a few upgrades and fan sites were removed.

AGC is listed on the Undergrads site. For those who don't know it was a show on MTV and GC's "The Click" was the theme song

AGC held a strong presence in the top 10 GC fan sites (out of about 100, as voted by fans, via hotsites)

AGC was originally created using Microsoft Frontpage

AGC is one of few fan sites that still exist on the world wide web. Most others that are still up have not been updated for years

Joel & Paul follow AGC on Twitter, the other band members are aware of the site due to articles and tweets of support.

Even if Aussie GC is never updated again, one thing is for sure - It will be Forever Representing.

Such amazing, talented artists. Nothing compares to attending a gig, knowing it truly is live, raw and genuine. For years Benji & Joel have amazed me, and they continue to do so.

Here's a few photos from the night, mixed quality. Not bad for being taken on a phone camera though.

I must admit, I have more photos of Benji than Joel, due to seat location.
