Just finished the first two books of KBB and it is amazing. You are so talented! I am eagerly awaiting the 3rd novel.
Thank you so much! That series is definitely close to my heart and I am excited to dive back into it this year.

Will there be a Hades Saga Counterpart to a Touch of Chaos??? I have absolutely loved the series and have loved that you get to experience the story from both points of view!! That has elevated the series so much!!
Hello!
A Touch of Chaos already includes Hades POV, so there will be no counterpart.
Thank you for reading both sagas. I also think it elevates the reading experience!
hello,
I was wondering if King of Battle and Blood is a retelling of Tristan and Isolde or another myth? I saw on your website your other books are retellings.
And what other books you wrote that are not retellings?
excited to read your works!
thank you!
Hello!
It isn’t, actually...I just love the name Isolde. I didn’t realize that my history of writing retellings + the name would lead to the assumption it was a Tristian and Isolde retelling, LMAO. My bad.
Anyway, it IS steeped in mythology and history, however. The monsters in the stories are all some type of vampire from various cultures across the world. I also reference many Romanian myths and the witch hunts were influenced by those lead by James I.
The only other book that isn’t an overt retelling is When Stars Come Out, which is my YA. It’s very loosely based on Orpheus and Eurydice but those themes aren’t obvious.
Hope this helps!
Just got done reading Queen of Myth and Monsters and omg I am quite literally obsessed with Adrian and Isolde! I really love how you portray women in these books as being powerful and especially Isolde being so unapologetic. I read somewhere that this was going to be a trilogy, are you still planning on a third book? Because I can’t with the ending, I have to know more! Also absolutely love your writing style ♥️
Thank you so much.
I love Isolde and QMM was such a difficult book to write. It was just as Rowe vs Wade was overturned in Oklahoma and I raged.
I am so grateful you see the power in this book.
I am writing the third. I will start on it soon after I finish the prequel novella, Born of Flame and Sacrifice.
Kingdom of Spirit and Shadow (KBB 3) will release in January 2026.
Born of Flame and Sacrifice will release in May 2025.
When is Adrian X Isolde book 3 coming out?
Kingdom of Spirit and Shadow will release in January of 2026.
A prequel novella, Born of Flame and Sacrifice, will release in May 2025.
Hello, i’m quite nervous to send this messages but i am a young writer, or i guess id say that, i enjoy reading your books and they have inspired me to go in depth of my version in the fantasy world, id like to ask for advice on how to go through writing and how to grasp the attention of readers the way you do p.s. ur my fav author and your books are the definition of magnificent
Congratulations on diving into writing! I'm so proud of you!
My suggestion would be to read a few books, maybe The First 50 Pages by Jeff Gerke. As a new writer, I think it will be beneficial to just understand the story structure of the first 50 pages of a novel as this is the foundation for the rest of your book.
I also recommend The Magic Words by Cheryl B. Klein. This book does say for Middle Grade and YA novels, however, I write Adult and still found so many useful tools within these pages. For example, I still use the concept of Decision and Consequence (she calls it something different) to outline my novels.
E.g.: MC makes a decision = MC experiences consequence. MC makes another decision. MC experiences another consequence.
I also use concepts from her Plot Checklist which will help you build three-dimensional, deep characters.
I hope this helps! Z
You probably might not see this, but I just wanted to say that I have just recently bought and read all of your Hades x Persephone saga books and I have loved every second of them (I just finished Touch of Chaos this morning)!! It's such a phenomenal series and even though their story is done I just can't get enough of those two, and I really hope to see snippets of them in your next series. Would you ever consider writing just a book with little short stories of their life together after Chaos? I am honestly wanting to go back and start from the beginning again because I loved them so much, and now that I know that their story is over is so bittersweet. But if you ever released a book with all of the extended scenes or moments that didn't make it into the other books (like the end of Touch of Malice) then I would hands down read it 😊 . Anyway, that's all I wanted to say, just an appreciation post for your amazing saga. I am so excited for what you have in store for the next books in the series!
Hello!
Thank you so much for this wonderful message, I am so grateful!
I would consider it, I have a list of short stories, actually (Apollo x Hyacinth, Thanatos x Lexa etc). The challenge I always face is how to transition back into every world I've created. You will see more of Hades and Persephone in Aphrodite and Hephaestus book, Temptress of Fire and Fury. Their book begins exactly where Chaos ends so we will literally open on the same chapter with a POV from Aphrodite of the coronation. From there, we'll see how New Greece changes following the events of Chaos. I cannot wait to share more from the New Greece world!
