△ Most terrifying moment of your life?
7/10So, as I mentioned I went through quite the number of families before I finally got to leave the home, some of them were less than great. One family I was with was a couple who couldn’t have kids of their own. They both seemed very kind until they were alone with each other for too long then it just dissolved into screaming and yelling at each other, and having been there less than a month I never really said anything to either of them, never questioned why they fought so much or anything, I remember one night specifically though I heard a lot of clatter in the middle of the night and saw them scuffling in the kitchen and thought they were trying to kill each other. It diffused quickly and I wasn’t with the family for much longer (”We think a child is too much stress for us right now”) but it was definitely a scary sort of moment.
△ what's your first thought waking up
0/10Generally what time it is, when I have to be at work, what else I have to do that day, should I eat before I leave. Generally a small agenda.
ask me more questions i’m still in bed and i’m not moving. so i need entertainment
△ What motivated you to become a foster parent?
5/10The only reason I don’t want to answer very much is because Gav has a tendency to become huffy when I do.Plus when I pull the “I grew up in a foster home wah wah” card out of the bag it tends to sound whiney.I guess that’s the main reason though, I grew up in and out of a home and going from different families who decided they wanted a different child or families who tried to take care of me out of the goodness of their hearts but could no longer afford me, I missed a lot of critical schooling when I was in the home–mostly because I skipped but still, plus it’s just not a very nice place to grow up, better than the streets but still not ideal. So seeing Gavroche living in the same manner that I was was very difficult for me and because of that I decided that being older than the rest of my friends and having a somewhat steady job and some extra room I could at least give him somewhere to stay and some sort of stability.
In short the answer is that I grew up in foster care and I didn’t want Gavroche to do the same, however maybe if it were different context I wouldn’t have taken another person in? or maybe I would have, it’s very hard to say. I didn’t want to see somebody else miss schooling or deal with more hardships than most people already do in this capitalist hell.
Send me a △ and ask a really invasive question aimed at my character
They’ll have to:
Rate on a scale of 1-10 how much they don’t want to answer that question.
Answer that question.

nevermind i don’t feel guilty about ziptying your present at. all.
for the relations meme, enjolras and gavroche?
Enjolras is a very intelligent person for somebody so young, he’s also very good at speaking. I see him a lot in the meetings I actually get to attend when work allows, as well as when I’m around at Grantaire or Joly’s place he’s typically around (It sounds like we travel around like a pack of dogs.). He comes by to visit sometimes as well, I’d definitely consider him a friend, I suppose.@ofresistance
Gavroche is my charge (I don’t think he likes it when I call him my kid,) He’s been staying with me since August? I believe, maybe sooner, before school started for him. He’s living with me, I have signed many legal documents because of him in the past few months so obviously I’m fond of him–even if he raises my blood pressure and refuses to eat vegetables or take baths. I suppose there’s a sort of kinship between us seeing as I was raised in foster homes and government houses and I really didn’t want to see him doing that anymore. @ofroach
#My ugly fake dad who is 10 hundred year olds so rude
Feuilly also covered Gavroche’s gift completely in zip ties and it’s been four hours of trying to open it. The Kik group is still getting updates from him, usually in the form of complaining.
