if darkness was empty, filled with you

fetched out of the

earth

in blur pale turning

hiding

a feeling swept over the heart

by time plays with never

somehow each were upon

name far and chasmed

every key change of

pitch soundless

thoughts

between nowhere and meaning

where midnight lowers the

heart towards

the immediacy of cannot

that so much of which you know

nothing

memory

too much perhaps

flaws into a

stranger to you

the accustomed one

kept inside the

truth

just beneath the earth

pressed against distance

looking into the budding tear of

gathering

shaping and guiding the accuracy of

error of illusion

its blade-wept course towards you

our immersed breaths

heaviness here sent

we have been wayed nowhere

as now ties its knot

around the heart

closing depth opening

un-filling with slept tomorrow’s

dream scree
