Erm so like, I'm doing this with an aching wrist at like almost 12pm an hour past when I was meant to be asleep but I have to get on the grind.
Basically I feel like they are both actually really touch starved, B being more (I made a long post about him and you could probably tell why he's touch starved) but yeah. James is actually somehow more clingy though, with him having but of a habit of hugging pillows when Bs away or something. B doesn't understand one thing though and that is why he's getting all this affection (daddy issues 😬😬😬) due to him often not having any actual genuine love shown to him.
B is the first person James has been in a relationship with, so James can get a little awkward or just get really fucking flustered. At the start B actually showed most of the affection but soon it evened out over time. But he was not used to anything, like he would freak out over B literally holding his hand.
They both have their forms of love language, Bs is giving, basically he does a lot for James, like he often makes him meal (also because James can't cook for shit) and B just believes giving something to someone can be really good long term wise. He actually often gives James a photo album of the past year each valentines day usually. James' love language is more giving affection, especially cuddling, like he does it a lot.
B has probably had relationships in the past but some just didn't work out (which lead to a demi romantic discovery) and some were not healthy. But in most of these B only stayed in it because he was desperate for literally anything that could help him fill in the void which has formed due to lack of affection when he was younger.
Despite them both hating each other at the start they have a really healthy relationship.
At the start James was a bit spooked so it caused him to act out a bit leading him to be rather rude to B. While B felt like he's done something wrong and just went with it. Soon James started to notice B opening up slightly (some things I'm going to add to the world below soon) B was willing to risk his life if James was in a bad position, B literally carried him to safety and kept him warm under a blanket while James was passed out, Bs helped James with injuries and B seemed very willing to give the rest of a loaf of bread he was rationing due to lack of food in the level, with no questions. Obviously soon James starts realizing this as stated in his chapter in which he started to realize B was good looking and he was a really nice lad deep down. B had absolutely no feelings until a couple of Months later in which he soon started to realize a relationship with James wasn't too bad of an idea. This means if James had confessed months earlier B would have rejected him.
James was the one who confessed via a love letter. In which he gave to B unfortunately when he was in a rush so he was not getting that first proper romantic first kiss, he got it the next day actually on a first date. What B did do was quickly kiss his cheek before leaving leaving little bro baffled.
After 2 years of dating B proposed and then the following year they got married (I LOVE YAOI) now I'm unsure what I'm doing with Yasmin (their ship child), like what time she comes into play and if I'd even have her in the world below.
Anyways some like general stuff now, James has a habit of stealing Bs shirts or jumpers. B likes baking for him. Despite James not having even had top surgery in the first couple of years B was very supportive, heck he's gay he's attracted to men so he obviously did not view James as feminine. James is a nightmare when he's asleep, he can fidget, he snores and takes up half the sheets, B loves him regardless. Sometimes James really likes just napping so he has a cwtch with B and falls asleep and usually B is occasionally caressing his hair or reading a book and has one arm wrapped around him.
