Dauntless born, it’s in her blood. Ever since she can remember everyone around her, daring, brave, Fearless. Ava grew up watching her family and friends switch factions or become factionless. Whilst still very young, Ava focused on the more daring things in life – Joining in in fearful challenges and nerve wreaking activities, but that was dauntless. On the day of the choosing ceremony Ava chose her born faction, once again she watched family and friends switch. Not that it bothered her. ‘Faction over blood.’ Being an initiate was easy. Although the 1 on 1 fights proved almost too much, Ava’s fighting was fast, she used her opponents weaknesses against them and pulled through, racking a good 3rd place on the board – Which she was more than happy with.
Ava’s family has never been a strong point in her life. Once she’d passed Intiation Ava’s mother and father’s marriage fell apart. Her father became factionless and her mother, well, she wasted away. As for her siblings, - Two older brothers. They’d switched factions, one transferring into Amity and the other Erudite.
Power was something that Ava never really had the chance to savor, therefore resulting in her taking it when she could. She has hopes she’ll one day have the chance to become a Dauntless leader along side the current powerful Dauntless leaders, but for now she’s settled for Training the new initiates. Preferring to train transfers to Dauntless born, but she is willing to work with both. Many have told her she is too harsh on them, but she just simply calls it ‘tough love.’
