Mirages đ Avan & Styles
styles-iaâ:
âYa should never be embarrassed ya know me mirage love, I would not keep a thing against ya. In the end we are all just more honest when we get drunk drinkinâ.â He nodded to his own statement as if to bring more power to the statement. âThe ship moves and lives- it might not agree with ya when ya drink so take it easy at first, donât wanna have ya sea sick do we-â He grinned at the other and grabbed his drink.Â
âFantasy?â STyles looked up, slightly confused for a moment before his eyes softened. âDepends, arenât ya a genie? If I could make a wish for this to be me ship, on the open sea, it would never have to end. We could be on the water forever.â
His companyâs words made the genie chuckle in the back of his throat; he knew very well how awfully honest he was when intoxicated. He would do and say all the things he refrained to when he was sober and there were many things he kept himself from doing because he had been raised to be modest and polite, only to say what others wanted to hear. That had been his position in the palace, he was not to speak against anyone in the household for he was one of the lowest in their ranking system. Only there to grant wishes. So all that had to come out in some way.
âThen Iâm glad the more I drink the less my feet touch the groundâ perhaps that would keep him from getting sea sick. If he wasnât thinking about keeping his feet on the ground, he always floated more or less.Â
He let Styles catch his eyes only for a brief second before his gaze moved to the golden bracelet of his on the hand that was holding his glass of wine. He was sure the pirate, born to be after everything shiny, had noticed the bracelet but he was unsure the other knew that was the genieâs item and he usually didnât make it this obvious.. but Styles had somehow convinced him he wouldnât abuse his power. He was quite obviously thinking deeper than necessary and a moment later he let out a faint laugh, looking back at the other again. âSomeoneâs a dreamer. Howâd we manage just the two of us?â
Mirages đ Avan & Styles
styles-iaâ:
His eyes crinkled up a little as he grinned at Avan. âYa know, I donât think anyone has ever seen me real drunk since I came here yeah- I used to live on rum, water is dangerous when ya long at sea and there is no fresh water source and ocean water aint a good thing to drink yeah- our wizard died after a while so we couldnât get much water, only drank rum for a year or so yeah.â his alcohol tolerance was high, moreso than that of others. Or well, maybe he was just always drunk.Â
âyeah, whatever you are getting. Ya ever got drunk on a ship before? it is different than on land ya know.â A little worry for the otherâs well-being slipped through the conversation before Styles sat down and looked at the food, it smelled amazing and he hoped it tasted as good as the smell made him think. âYou been sailinâ or on a boat before mirage?âÂ
âWell, then youâll be meeting me and Iâll feel very embarrassed tomorrowâ perhaps heâd already âmetâ Styles anyway. The pirate seemed quite open about who he was, although not so open about how heâd come to be that person. Not completely at least. It made Avan want to ask questions he shouldnât and so far heâd been good at keeping quiet but there was no guarantee he could when he was tipsy.
Avan took the bottle of red wine and twisted the cap open ( ah, those far-too-easy new bottles ) and he began to pour them both a drink since he was allowed to pick. Wine always made him talkative, and flirty, and feeling like he was a little ball of fluff. What? âDonât think Iâve ever been drunk on a ship, no --- but I have sailedâ a smile visited his features briefly when he remembered the scene of open water and sunrise and he was surprised he remembered it so clearly now, quite sure itâd been fifty years, give or take.Â
He put the bottle down and sat on his seat, the glass of wine finding a comfortable spot in Avanâs hand. âHow long do you think this fantasy will last?â he asked as he looked at his surroundings and took his first sip towards doom.
The hopeful chirp {Avan&Jeongmin}
jeongmin-iaâ:
He saw it, he felt it, it was something he could even hear in the melody of a heartbeat when it beat and there was something missing. He knew what it sounded like because it was the same rhythm his own heart had. The cupid nodded and he lead the way towards a door that would allow them to be outside away from curious ears.Â
âYou know,â Jeongmin started as they walked into the cool air and he inhaled deeply, taking in the fresh and clean air. âWhen I was still a siren through and through I was often in love. It was a lot of crushes and I often confused lust with love- When I truly loved someone I would confuse love with lust. Now that I am a cupid I am painfully aware of the difference, but there is a blessing too because at least now i know I am not alone, being alone.Â
Avan was every bit a believer that he fell in love a little bit with everyone he became close with. The forms of love were different but still there and that made him give them the world. Somewhere along the way he had realized it was hard to love someone who couldnât concentrate that feeling onto one ( or two ) people only and he had stopped looking, or accepting, but it didnât extinguish the need to feel like he was special to someone.
He preferred not to dress those thoughts up into words. âHow does it feel, to have gone through that change?â he hoped it wasnât too blunt to ask, it wasnât only his curiosity that made him ask but he wondered if his friend ever got to talk about it. It must have been hard, to be stripped of oneâs nature.
It felt better to be standing outside, away from the party, the music just a background noise. If Jeongmin had not been there with him he would be much worse off standing there companied by his loneliness, this felt much better.

2008 {Avan&Elidyr}
elidyr-iaâ:
This was his prison; one without physical walls. Impossible to escape for the man as he stood against the rough wall, his hands hurting from the surface but not enough to make him push away from it. That was his life, enduring pain instead of finding a way out of it permanently. He closed his eyes for a moment as he felt his body screaming for more, more more more.Â
He gurgled lightly before reacting to the man that offered his kind help again- the angel as he had decided. Looking up, with shaking freckled hands as he swallowed. âI.. okay.â he didnât really have a home but there was a small place where he could go. Where dealers would be able to find him and pry off the last remaining things of worth or dignity that he had.Â
He finally pushed off the wall and lead the other as he stumbled through the streets, breathing heavy with shaking limbs but in the end they found themselves in a very bad part of town where most buildings were designated to be destroyed at some point in time. In the back they heard dogs barking violently but Elidyr did not seem to notice, or if he did, it was normal to him as he pushed open a door and showed Avan into a small run-down room with windows barred by wood and a dirty mattress on the ground surrounded by drug paraphernalia âHome sweet home, are you sure there is nothing I can do for you in return?âÂ
He fell down on the mattress and shivered as he pulled his filthy coat around him a little tighter. âUsually I offer my body to those that have something for me.â he said in a small voice, not that the magnificent creature would want him; a lowlife druggie that was on his last hours (or so it felt).Â
So this wasnât exactly how heâd imagined his day to go. He was supposed to run some errands and enjoy himself in some restaurant after with good food and wine but none of that seemed so important now. Avan had a bit of a savior complex heâd never admit to himself and what made it worse was that he had the money to do it too.
He followed his new acquaintance with constant worry, hovering behind him, ready to step forward the second the man would need him. How had the man let this become his life? How had it all started and why? The longer he spent in this company the more questions came to mind and he had an inkling he shouldnât ask a thing.
Avan couldnât be easily shaken; the barking didnât startle him, the sound even to him quite familiar. Neither did the neighborhood but it definitely wasnât a place he enjoyed hanging around in; for his own and the other manâs safety. He seemed innocent enough which made the genieâs stomach turn even more.
Once they arrived to the otherâs living space, he hesitated at the door. He did not judge anyoneâs living situation, no, and he tried to keep any sadness away from his features but in all honesty, this was sad to witness. His eyes scanned the space and landed on Elidyr, who was now on the dirty mattress. âThereâs no needâ Avan confirmed, âare you expecting anyone?â He had a thought that heâd run to the closest shop and get them some food and the saddest fact was Elidyr did have to get himself something to take the edge off or his body could possibly fail.
The hopeful chirp {Avan&Jeongmin}
jeongmin-iaâ:
Soft eyes followed the gesture of the genie. Indeed, the man had surrounded himself with a lot of different characters. People from all walks of life were here at the party; pretty magnificent if you asked the cupid.Â
âYour heart is lonely, Avan.â he whispered as he eyed the man with sadness. The power that had been bestowed on him was not just for the broken hearted that suffered a romantic heartbreak but all kinds. âDo you have someone to mend that?â He asked and truly, he wanted to be one of the people to fill that darkness within his friend because he, too, was in the possession of a lonely heart indeed.Â
Hearing the truth hurt. Jeongmin was absolutely right and no matter how many times Avan would tell himself he wasnât lonely, he was. Terribly so. It was a constant sting in his chest and it made his heart so heavy and his work nearly unbearable. He cleared his throat and downed his glass of champagne, placing the glass on the table they were standing next to.
âCould we step outside for a second? I think I need fresh airâ he felt he could be honest with his friend but he didnât trust all the people around him who could be eavesdropping. He was not about to become the center of rumors.

Swapped âš Avan & Styles
styles-iaâ:
âHalf the time half naked, so ya were whole naked the other half of the time, yeah?â He winked at that notion and even if Avan would deny that- he would still fully believe it to be true (at least imagine it, wasnât the other a wish granter? That definitely meant someone had to have asked him to be naked, right?)Â
Walking after Mirage he realize he had definitely been daydreaming about the other rather than take action- booze was needed and so was dancing and having a good time. âTell me about where ya come from.â He asked as he caught up with his date. âWhat was it like?âÂ
People had definitely asked him to be naked, Styles was right. To a young wish granter it had been a dream come true at first but as years went on, it had turned into something darker when certain truths unfolded. Heâd been a slave after all and treated accordingly. The way Styles thought about it was very innocent and nice compared to that and Avan wasnât about to ruin it.
Avan went for a glass of champagne like a true pirate would ( Styles really should teach him real pirate ways ) and looked at the party again, a smile brightening up his slightly tired features. âIt was warm, sandy, and.. quite beautiful. The scenery, anyway.â Greece was one of the most beautiful places heâd ever been to --- truly a beautiful place for the royalty. He was being vague at best.
âYour turn.â
Mirages đ Avan & Styles
styles-iaâ:
With the ship named, food being cooked and them having escaped the horrible people that had captured the poor ship and chained her to the land like she was some kind of animal- Styles felt pretty happy and proud of himself and Avan. In the end this had gone as well as it could have gone. A good day indeed. âYa cute when ya cookinââ He teased and of course he went to get the plates.Â
Putting them on the table and staring before remembering people used cutlerly and adding those to the plates as well, staring at the three bottles of booze and then eyeing Avan. âYa got big plans donât ya mirage?â
Avan looked like the perfect gentleman when he cooked, that could also fall under the âcuteâ category, so he didnât mind being called that. He moved the wok from the pan into a bowl and the fish neatly on top, grabbed his glass of wine, and brought them to the table, a breathy laugh escaping his lips as he placed his glass down.
âDonât think Iâve ever seen you drunk, itâs about time we meet each other.â Avan knew his tolerance for alcohol was nowhere near the pirateâs and he would probably end up embarrassing himself.. but at this time, who cared. Avan didnât. He was very, very tired of keeping up a front around the clock and they were far away enough from prying eyes. He could let loose for once.
âSit, take some food on your plate. What would you like to drink?â
the moon is drowning and i am so thankless. she is swallowing brine, closing teeth on seafoam, throat rubbed raw in the sand.
this is mercy, full stop. thatâs all it is. nothing too tender here, just a pity that i never deserved. i am tearing down the starlight and she is sinking. i am pleading for a catalyst and she is begging a disaster of me. i am building a stairway to something less than salvation and she is making an empty thing of my heart.
fuck, i said no more mourning but i donât know what else to do. i said iâm not grieving but i might as well be. i am missing her or i am missing you or i am missing me, missing/missing/missing and nothing ever gets found âcause i gave up on it halfway. thatâs why she is drowning. i never gave her a chance.
the heartache is eating me alive but i watch her/you/me greet the sea again, open-armed like it is big enough to forgive.
this time the moon bears my name // charle l.
Hmm... Starters
âWell thatâs an interesting predicamentâŠâ
âHow did you get yourself there?â
âCare to share how you wound up in this situation?â
âI donât want to talk about how or why Iâm here, just help.â
âYou have a thoughtful look on your face.â
âYouâre looking a little spacey.â
âI could elaborate, but I wonât.â
âCan you explain this to me one more time?â
âI have questions, and I doubt you have answers to them.â
âI donât think any amount of explanation is going to save whatever headache this is giving me.â
âI donât need to explain anything.â
âI could tell you what happened, but you will not believe me.â
âI would like to claim plausible deniability.â
âNothing you say is going to make this any better.â
âI put a lot of thought into this.â
âI didnât think this through.â
âI thought about this a lot and it still came out like this.â
âSometimes I just need a quiet place to think.â
âYou really thought this all out?â
âItâs difficult to have a spare moment to myself these days.â
âYou look suspicious.â
âI have no idea what youâre referring to.â
âDo you just stare while you think?â
âYou have a thoughtful look about you, something up?â
âHmm⊠oh what? Sorry, itâs nothing. Donât worry.â

đđđđđđđ đ'đđ đđđđ { Peter&Avan }
ra-iaâ:
Making sure the clasps around his violin were secure Peter looked down for a moment before he looked up again at the mysterious man. he had to refrain himself from speaking in the otherâs head as he could, after all he did not know whether the other was a supernatural like him and if he wasnât well that would surely end this meeting in screams and witch hunts. Peter had no need for any of that. Returning the bow he left the small plaza as well, returning to the small apartment he had been living him for the time being. It was extremely small but he was never there anyway. A magical barrier protecting everything he had with him and he changed into darker jeans and a silver blouse that accentuated his eyes.Â
His violin was left there as well, not wanting to drag it along on what could be a nice date, he returned to the small plaza in an hour- while it was more than an hour to travel the Tuanji could teleport, of course this was also kept silent, as he appeared in one of the side alleys and appeared in front of Avan right on time as he jogged towards the man. âhey there, you clean up well.â He jested with a small smile.
Avan was very particular about what heâd look like on a date and he always went with the eraâs style unless he knew the person well enough to be more relaxed with his outfit --- in this case he didnât. He changed to jean shacks, a thin belt keeping the pants up just above his waistline, the jeans neatly folded up a little to reveal dark red socks. His shoes were neat black and he wore a plain white collar shirt tucked under the grey pants. His curls were neatly pulled back on a ponytail --- he got a lot of looks because of his hair, for a man who wore suits was supposed to go for a cleaner look but he never could cut his hair too much without feeling very off about it.
Avan smiled brightly when he saw the other jogging up to him, glad his own excitement was met. âYou donât look bad yourself,â the compliment was given with the most gentle voice, âhungry? shall we eat?â
