They're making me wanna re-watch Hercules now and yes I definitely will write something about them 😼😼
you call daniela into your office with complaints about her less than appropriate attire.
content: fem!reader, ceo!reader, office siren!daniela, power imbalance (ceo x employee), very inappropriate clothes in the office, daniela is a tease, and very obsessed, reader is described as being cold & strict, you're a very stressed out person, assistant!megan makes a brief cameo word count: 2.0k note: photos are intended to represent daniela, reader can be imagined however you like!
unlike most people, daniela is actually excited when your assistant calls her into your office. it's never usually a good thing — you don't exactly have the best reputation with your employees — but daniela grabs her files and heads down the hall with a skip in her step, ignoring the questioning looks her co-workers send her way. even your assistant looks a little apprehensive as she opens your door.
it's her first time in your office, and daniela can't help but smile to herself as she finally takes it in. the windows overlooking the city's skyline are even vaster than she imagined, and everything is so sleek. she can't explain it, but the sight of your casual luxury makes her stomach flip. she wouldn't put it past you if the pens on your desk are made of real gold.
you look up from your computer and eye daniela with a less than amused expression. she's wearing the mandated blazer all employees are required to don, but aside from that, nothing else follows the dress code. her heels are just a little too high, her shirt just a little too unbuttoned, enough so that the lace of her red bra peeks out, and she wears her skirt, cropped shorter than permitted, just a little too low on her hips.
beside her, your assistant blushes. she's always had an eye for the prettiest of your employees and daniela clearly has an effect on her. you wave her away, "it's okay, megan. i can take it from here."
megan nods, embarrassed at being caught, and swiftly exits the room, clicking the door shut behind her until it's finally just the two of you.
"take a seat," you motion to the chairs in front of your desk. daniela instantly sits down. she's been planning this since she first started working here, there's absolutely no way she's about to fuck it up, so she's happy to let you believe you're the one in power for the time being. "do you know why i've asked you here today?"
daniela shakes her head, "is it the project i'm working on?"
she leans forwards to slide the files onto your desk, ever so subtly pushing up her cleavage as she does. your eyes track the movement and you swallow. she smirks at that. most people might call you cold and unfeeling, but daniela always knew you had emotions underneath all your layers. you just need a little push.
"i've been receiving complaints from several employees about your uniform, or rather lack of it," you explain, tearing your eyes away from places you shouldn't be looking. with how quickly you regain your composure, daniela would've thought she'd imagined the whole thing if she didn't know better. "they've been calling it distracting, and monthly reports show a decline in work progress directly linked to when you started dressing inappropriately."
daniela sighs. while she can admit a part of her gets off at the way they stumble over their words when talking to her, the co-workers she spends her days stuck with are not the ones she wants to make flustered. sure, she enjoys the power it gives her over them, especially working in a role many people would call powerless, but they're not the ones she wants to bring to their knees.
this whole thing has been about you.
down from her sheer tights to the placement of her earrings, it's all for you. she gets ready each morning, drawing on deep red lipstick and imagining how it'll look smudged on your shirt collar, all in an effort to capture your attention. yet you, aside from your earlier slip up, seem to be made of stone.
when she passes you in the hallway, you don't even turn your head, and on the rare occasions she gets called in for a meeting, you barely even glance up. if she started stripping right now, would you even react? maybe your jaw would clench, and those hands she can't get enough of would tighten on your armrests, but aside from that, you'd probably go back to looking right past her.
she slips her blazer off one shoulder, just to see.
nothing in response.
"does it distract you?" that's what her whole goal is, after all. to make you obsessed with her the same way she is with you, to render you breathless, completely at her beck and call. she can imagine it so clearly; the ceo of one of the most influential companies in the world rendered to a whimpering mess at the feet of her employee.
you don't deign to answer her question.
"this is an office, not a strip club. i expect my employees to maintain an air of professionalism in the work place," you tell her instead. "that's not much to ask."
daniela can't help herself; she rolls her eyes. god, she's obsessed with you, but she's spent so long eyefucking you from her cubicle that she's forgotten how annoying you can be when you open your mouth. she knows so many better ways to put it to use, if only you'd let her. if only you'd look at her for more than a second. "oh please, if there's anywhere you need to be it's a strip club."
you raise a brow. in all your years as ceo, no one has ever dared talk to you like that. it should be infuriating. you should be firing her right now, and you would in a heartbeat if she wasn't so... captivating. it's admittedly the first bit of excitement you've had in a while. "explain."
"i'm just saying, maybe it would do you some good. you're so uptight, and you fire everyone within a hair trigger, so maybe if you relived that tension of yours you wouldn't be so understaffed."
your first thought is, how does she know we're understaffed? but it's honestly pretty obvious. in recent months, you've fired more people than you've hired. not over unreasonable things, you defend, but stuff you maybe could've overlooked if you were in the right headspace. some of them deserved to go, though, like the man you caught openly lusting over daniela after he'd just been talking about his wife. you wouldn't re-hire him for all the money in the world; you already have it.
your second thought is that she's right, god damnit she's right.
people have tried to get through to you. family, distant friends, the concerned co-worker, but no one, not even megan, your closest confidant, could reach you. in favour of more work, more late nights distracting yourself with whatever you can find to occupy your brain so you don't have to think about the loneliness that lingers in you like a plauge, you pushed them all away.
it's not just a lack of intimacy either, even if that does play a role. it's the long days at the office, the coming home to an empty bachelor pad and cooking a meal for one. it's remembering people you were close to, people you thought you had something with, only for them to reaveal they just wanted a promotion or your money, not you.
but daniela doesn't seem like that.
if she wanted a promotion, she's the type to just come up to your desk with the statistics as to why and then just ask. you're sure of this and yet, even still, a little part of yourself told you she only wanted to use you.
you know it's a horrible thought to have, to think everyone is out to get you, plastering on fake smiles your way while ulterior motives lie beneath their skin. to think so lowly of the people you're surrounded by, to be greeted with genuine connection and immediately chalk it up to deceit. it's awful, but you've been hurt more than once, and you're done talking risks.
it's the reason why you haven't made a move on daniela.
you're not blind; anyone can see the way she tries to tempt you. what they can't see, however, is the way it's working.
it's one thing to think about your employee in that way — even if she's the one initiating it — it's another to make a move on her. it goes against every code of conduct you've ever read, every moral you've ever held.
so, you pushed it down. hid how badly you wanted her to have her way with you, hid how you thought about her late at night when you couldn't sleep, pent up with no way to relive it. at least no way that'd satisfy you as much as she could.
when she walked through the building, intentionally swaying her hips, you looked right past her, holding your breath until she was gone. when she handed in a report with her lipstick stained kiss on the top corner, you resisted the urge to smear the mark against your thumb, to press your own lips to the page exactly where she did, barely holding back from imagining what her lipstick would look like on you.
honestly, it's a miracle you've kept your self control for this long. you need her more than anything you've ever needed in your life.
daniela can see it too.
she's always suspected, and now, with the way you're looking at her — eyes raking over her figure, mouth slightly open —she knows.
"say the words," she tells you. "say no, say that you don't want me like this and i'll stop. i'll go back to dressing sensibly and we can forget this ever happened, if that's what you want. just say no."
you can tell she means it.
one word and this will all be over. just one little word and you can go back to being a good boss who doesn't lust over her employees, or at least try to, and daniela will go back to behaving herself, but your mouth can't seem to form it. the simple syllable fails you. instead, when you open your mouth, the word, "daniela..." slips out, a traitorous, breathless little thing that someone with half a mind would be embarrassed about, but you're so dazed you can't even think of anything but her.
she smirks, "that's not a no."
you shake your head, "it's not."
daniela stands up and you don't find yourself protesting as she steps around your desk to where you're sitting. in fact, you turn in your chair slightly so she has easier access.
"you've been so stressed out lately, haven't you, baby?"
you nod, "yeah..."
she smiles at the shakiness in your tone. she's right in front of you now, close enough to reach out and touch. you're about to when you hear the slightest sound outside your office, eyes immediately flicking to the door. it was just someone walking past, but you tense up like they just walked in and saw you and daniela in this very compromising, completely unexplainable position.
you're fairly certain megan locked the door when she left, but what if she didn't? what if the next time, someone decides to come in? you can admit there's a thrill in potentially getting caught, but the reality of it? you'd both be ruined, that you're sure of, careers in the rubble and —
"hey," daniela interrupts your train of thought, one hand gently taking ahold of your chin and guiding you to look at her, "it's okay. we don't have to do this if you don't want to."
"i want to — fuck, i really want to — i just can't ever get out of my head. my brain is constantly full of stress and all these things i need to do."
"you don't have to do anything." daniela reassures you. she knew your stress ran deep — hell, anyone to get within thirty feet of you on a bad day does — but she's never seen it up close like this. all she wants to do is make it better, and luckily for you, she knows a few ways to relieve stress. "how about this, you sit back and i'll take care of you. you don't have to say anything, just relax and let me do the talking, hm?"
