BIOGRAPHY:

The Sword is someone who is said to have inherited the fighting skills of their father and the wits of their mother.

The Sword is someone who is keen on observations, they are a very organized person who makes well-thought decisions. Out of everyone in their family, they are said to be the most studious and more often than not they can be found hidden away in their room with their head buried inside a book.

The Sword has been said to be like their father in their indecisiveness in wanting to stay neutral in the on-going war. But that is only a cover for the Sword. They hold onto the fact that their father is proud of the person they have become. Even though their father is proud, the Sword is afraid that once their father finds out about them joining Yin, their bonds might be permanently severed.

CONNECTIONS:

THE CHAMELEON - Their father and the type of man who they one day hope to become like. They constantly fear for their father’s life as they know they currently have a life-threatening disease. They are afraid to be as out-spoken and free as their twin, the Shield, for fear that their father might not approve especially if they were to hear about the Sword joining the Yin faction.

THE ERUDITE - The Erudite is an old childhood friend. They see the Erudite as an older brother and look up to them. They idolize them for their intelligence and wits.  Recently, they have noticed that the Erudite is troubled by something, but dare not to overstep lest it puts a strain on their friendship. They constantly remind the Erudite that they are friends and that if any problems arise, they have someone to back them up.

THE SHIELD  - Beloved eldest sibling. Sometimes, the Sword wishes they also had their personality. The Shield is someone who is outspoken and not afraid to show themselves to the world. The Sword knows that if one day the next Fire Lord were to be chosen, the nation would be in good hands should the Shield be picked.

THE MUNIFICENT - They are closest to their mother and bask in the warmth they give. They hold great knowledge and wisdom, and both share a love for organizing and building things. They wish they did not have to keep their joining of the Yin a secret, but they know the Chameleon would immediately hear the news. And that is something the Sword is not ready for.

Biography:

A runaway from their homeland, The Obscure’s past is unknown. Everyone from the Ryuujin group only knows that the boss had taken them in when The Obscure was a teenager and had raised them into the Ryuujin group.

The Obscure is loyal and will do just about anything for their boss and the group.

They are the one who is known to clean up messes. They are quiet and efficient in their work. Nowadays, they are considered to be a high-ranking member within the group. They are usually seen as someone who is close to the boss and protects them at all times.

Connections:

The Blackhole - An associate and fellow member of the group. They were the one who taught the ropes to the Blackhole. The Obscure is a bit wary of the spirit due to their way of living. But they know that he himself is not that different from them. They often work together when it comes to requests from either the Yin or Yang factions.

The Charmer - Someone who knows nothing about the Obscure, but has been friendly with them. The Charmer is one of the few people who knows that the Obscure is a part of the yakuza, but the Charmer does not treat them any differently. At times, they can be seen together as friends and have shared such a bond for many years.

The Cold Heart - A member of the Yin and serves as a closer advisor to the Yin leader. Their paths do not cross often. Thus, they hardly talk or interact with each other. The Obscure has seen the Cold-Heart around, but the Obscure does not go out of their way to make contact with them.

The Vehement - A passionate member of the Yang faction. The Vehement is both an informer and a client of the Ryuujin gang who frequently contacts the Obscure to do the dirty deeds for the Yang. The Obscure feels neither love nor hate towards them and sees their relationship as strictly professional. Yet, one does get cautious around such an explosive person.

The Wanderer - A kitsune who resides within the human world. Despite being a Spirit, the Obscure feels nothing in particular for him. Unlike with the Blackhole, he doesn’t feel any malevolence from the Wanderer, but he still remains cautious because of how little the Wanderer ever says about himself.

BIOGRAPHY:

Ten did not have an easy childhood, with parents being active members of the White Lotus. She was often bullied as she went to the academy for young people in her province, but never quite internalized what they said— Instead, she began to lash out.

At a young age, Ten’s parents left her to let her live with her grandmother. Her grandmother was a kind, but strict woman. She would often teach Ten hard lessons about patience and humility, which often left Ten feeling frustrated and impatient to be an earthbending master.

Ten’s family struggled to keep her in school and their grandmother safe and healthy— Her grandmother was ailing in her old age, and they had to spend a good deal of money to keep her healthy. Ten, for her part, got into more and more fights as she got older, not ineternalizing the majority of her grandmother’s lessons— No, she thought fighting for what was good and right was always the right thing to do. And so she did it— To protect her innocent friends or strangers, and to protect spirits from assaults by ignorant humans.

CONNECTIONS:

THE WHITE LOTUS - Ten’s relationship to the White Lotus is… Complicated. She will find herself jumping to their defense about as often as she finds herself getting frustrated with their insistence on patience and secrecy. For Ten, it was never really a choice as to whether to join the White Lotus— It was her destiny, as her parents before her, to protect the balance and the peace between nations, as well as between spirits and humans.

THE KNIGHT - A fellow member of the White Lotus and friend. It took some time for them to figure out that The Knight was a royalty from the Fire Nation. However, they do not care for ideas such as statuses and names. The only thing The Riot cares about is a person’s sense of justice and decency in their character. The Knight is a friend who they would readily lay their life for in the middle of a battle and they would entrust their own life to.

THE BENEVOLENT - They look up to the Benevolent and see them as a great leader. Being found by the Benevolent on the streets after a horrid fight of fighting for the rights of someone, the Benevolent took them in as a student and helped to heal their wounds. They have told the Benevolent their feelings for them, confessing their love. But The Riot knows that the both of them are duty bound to their cause.
