Man, there's such a double standard in content creation.

I often get comments from people who basically think you should give up if you don't get millions of views and instantly become famous.

I do it because I enjoy it and have made some great friends through streaming, and if you ask these same people what kind of content creators are the best they'll all say it's the ones who do it out of passion.

It's such a stupid thing to judge success like that to begin with.

Genuinely don't get how people are disappointed Homelander went out the way he did without killing everyone because that's exactly what happened in the comics too and most people knew the ending for years.

In fact the show's version of the ending was so much better because it fixed the biggest issue of the comics by removing the Black Noir twist.

Anyway, getting people excited based on empty promises and ending up being a massive disappointment is just another thing Homelander has in common with Donald Trump.

If I had a nickel for every time Ryan Gosling ran to be with the one he loved at the end of a movie during it's dramatic climax, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?

I don't think right wing media has spread as much misinformation about anyone else than they have for Che Guevara.

YouTube channels like Bad Empanada and Overzealots have done some great videos going into more detail about how outlets like PargerU misconstrue facts about him to make him seem bad, but I'm going to give you the most clear example I can.

The most common accusations against Che was that he's a racist, and the source they cite for that is his journal and yeah it's true he did write something racist about black people once.

Most people would have read about that on the very first page of his biography; but if they had carried on reading beyond that they would have learned that Che was a sheltered rich kid who wrote that journal before he went to study to be a doctor and the amount of suffering he saw changed him from the ignorant sheltered rich boy he used to be to someone who then went to fight for the freedom and rights in Congo.

In the words of Paarthurnax, "What is better - to be born good, or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?"

Besides; if he truely was as racist and homophobic as they claimed he was, the Nazis would be the ones who had pictures of him but instead they hate him.

It's so funny to me that Tom Holland is playing Telemachus in The Odyssey because "Telemachus" in Anciet Greek basically translates to "Warrior Far Away" so you could just call him "Spider-Man Far From Home".
