It's cold outside from Ayame

My muse’s car has broken down in a blizzard. Send “It’s cold outside” for my muse to knock on your muse’s door and request shelter to wait out the blizzard.

Chase was shivering. He hadn’t been wearing a coat for the weather, believing he wouldn’t need it in the car. But now his car had broken down, and now he had no way home. He shifted uncertainly on his feet before knocking on the door in front of him.

Ayame was busy with a painting when she heard a knock on her door. Putting down the paint brush in her hand, she took a cloth to get some wet paint off her hands. She went to the door, opening it. “Oh. Hi!” She said, not having expected anyone there or the knocking in the first place. She then looked him over, seeing he wasn’t wearing a jacket in the blizzard. “You must be freezing, come in!” She said, stepping aside.

Chase was shivering, freezing cold, as he stepped inside. He had snow in his hat and hair which quickly melted once he was inside. “Th-thanks,” he said, rubbing his arms to warm them. “Sorry, my - my car broke d-down.”

“It’s fine. Just… didn’t expect it. The fireplace should be going still so I’ll get you a drink while you warm up there.” Ayame said, taking him to the living room before going to the kitchen. “What do you want to drink?” She asked, knowing the it would take a bit to get some people to see what’s wrong with his car.

He stood in front of the fire, shifting from foot to foot. “Um, anything’s fine,” he said. “Tea, maybe?” He didn’t want to bother too much. He pulled his phone from his pocket to contact someone about his car.

“Tea… alright.” Ayame said, making him some. While she was at it she got herself some as well. She needed to take a short break anyway so this was a good opportunity. She came into the living room with two cups of tea, placing them down on the coffee table. “You can sit down by the way. It’s probably gonna take them a bit to get here with the weather we’re having.” She said, sitting down herself.

He nodded quickly, pocketing his phone as he had contacted someone while she had gotten the tea. He gingerly sat down, carefully picking up his cup of tea with a “thanks”.

She carried on walking down the street for a while before she reached a house with its lights on. “worth a try.” The woman wrapped her thin jacket around her and knocked on the door, hoping someone would answer.

It was a few moments before anyone answered. When Chase opened the door, he took note of the blizzard and the girl, mumbling “oh shit” before moving aside and gesturing her in. It was much warmer inside. “Are you okay?”

“Thank you so much” she stepped inside the handsome mans house, wiping snow off her feet and onto the mat. She want to intrude, so she stayed out at front door. “Better now I’m out of that blizzard” she chuckled, she got lucky that the first house she knocked on someone let her in. “Just glad I didn’t have to stay out in it any longer” she smiled at the man, showing her gratitude.

He nodded in response to her thanks as he closed the door behind her. “Yeah, it’d probably be bad, to stay out there for much longer,” he agreed. “What were you doing out in the cold?” he asked.

“I was driving home for the Christmas period to be with my family but my car broke down… Im really sorry if this intruded on family time” she smiled, as she heard the laughter of children in the background. She’d always wanted children, regardless of who they were.

Guess whose mom fucked her over again? To spare the intense details, I am in desperate need of $300 by the end of this month, which is really fucking close. My mom called me 2 day ago and said if I don’t come up with this money I’m forced to be homeless again. Understand, that’s SEVEN WHOLE DAYS that I need to come up with this crazy monetary amount.
