my dad and I fight but we also go to the beach at 6am and see seals and he'll ask me if I want a glass of water, and he will let me use any of his tools whenever I ask , when I was little he would take me out on his boat and it would always break down, he will make me breakfast without asking me first.

I don't know what I would do without that kind of love.

Life is really so much better when instead of comparing and competing I just appreciate everything for what it is. including myself.

I love the amazing art scene in my town. So much culture, so much creativity.

The light from my bedroom window. One of my friend's called me a patriot the other day... I would never describe myself as patriotic but I could never imagine growing up and probably even growing old in any other country.

Maybe I just need to travel more.
