The family.
Where's the best place to get an apartment in London?
Yeah? Great! I really feel like I’m close! I just think we need to get settled.
Good... good.
Do y'have Aunt Abigail's number?

You can always play the cello here.
I’m…not sure how long it will take to find her. London is a big city.
Arthur d- had told me about one of his friends here. Continuing lessons shouldn't be a problem. I'll call her tonight.
What if she's not in the city, Steph?
“Right, you’re that cello kid.” He nodded slowly before handing the note back. “Keep it, mate. You need it more than I do.” He pulled out a cigarette and lit it before addressing the boy again. “What’s your name?”
"Thanks," he said, shoving the note into his pocket. "I'm Avery, but Cello Kid's probly a decent identifier. Not many of us around. Who are you?"
Relationships
Stephanie McCormick
Steph is Avery's oldest sister. He loves her, but there's a distance between them fostered by her inability to believe Natalie's death, and he has difficulties trying to bridge the gap. They go on trips with some frequency, the most recent being an extended outing to London.
Natalie McCormick
Dissonance (To be posted. The night Natalie left from Avery's point of view.)
When Stephanie moved out Avery became extremely close to Natalie, his second eldest sister. He adored her to pieces, but thought her dead until recently.
Learning of what happened the night she disappeared, Avery is conflicted and confused by the changes he sees. Despite that he's extremely happy Natalie's still alive.

Robert McCormick
Avery doesn't have many memories of his father. Vague recollections of building cabinets in the shed out in the back of their house, the smell of wood shavings, and something about blue marbles. He tries not to think about it.
He didn’t remember selling anything to this young man. He did look familiar, though Victor couldn’t quite place it. He looked down at the note before glancing back up to the boy. “When did I give this to you yesterday?”
Avery shifted his weight from his right to his left. His cello was only a few feet away, but he'd been on a roll with the piece and he was itching to get back to it. "'Bout noon? I don't remember."
"I think... I was playing one of the Bach Cello Suites, Prelude of 5 in C minor," he shifted and looked back at his set up. "I think."
How long you been playing?
just a test
that's a little over dramatic avery
averymccormick started following you
“Can I help you, kid?”
"Yeah, man," he hands the man the five pound note he'd been tipped with the day before. "You gave me too much yesterday."
oh gawd
