trying not to let my weight affect my self esteem especially because i’ve been stress eating these past few weeks and gaining more weight but today especially all day i can FEEL the fat of my chin against my neck and it makes me want to throw up i feel sooooo disgusting.

being touch-starved or lonely makes me feel like a house cat discovering no one’s home. I’m rubbing my face along the bed sheets, following the sun’s slow crawl through the windows, curling up by the wall in time for the heater to kick on; keeping an ear out for the front door.

like i know the dating scene in my area is trash. but i mentioned to a friend how im interested in possibly creating a profile for a dating app, which would be the first time i actually try to stick to one instead of downloading the app and then deleting it immediately. but i mention it to my friend and the constant “You know all these men are trash! You’ll be wasting your time. You need to just go out and meet people.”

like 😭 do you think i’m a fucking idiot? gee why didn’t i think of that? BRO i’ve been trying to meet someone organically since my high school years. im not cute im not attractive im not desirable. men don’t ever approach me, i have NEVER had anyone ask for my number. but my friend is bagging on the idea of me exploring a dating app and then follows it up with “The other night this random guy ended up coming up to me and asking me if Im seeing anyone, I think Im going to see how it goes.” christ alive. you get people trying to hit you up while im told that I come off like im asexual. which there is nothing wrong with being asexual but i am. not.
