Weekend Playlist #1 (I'm BACK!)
Hello Nerdy Friends! *Waves with finger*
It has been so long since I've made a post or really even reblog. I am DEEPLY sorry. I have been going through some issues the past few months with school coming up this month. By the way, keep tuned til the end of this post to know when my Back To School series will be out soon. I'm not a make up guru or a very stylish person. I do know a few places with some cool stuff. Since you all have waited so long.. Too long. I have brought you a new series I have been waiting to do called, Weekend Playlist.
Weekend Playlist- A musical series each weekend, as I blog about songs or bands I love listening to on the weekends. When I have free time or a break from school. Hey, maybe you might even find a new song to listen to. I love finding new songs.
I have been song hunting for a while now. I have been downloading so many songs that I need folders as if they were albums for my songs. I feel songs can really just inspire you or calm you down. For those who are my curious followers, I don't have a certain type of music I listen to. My music is my mood. Seriously.
Coke Weed ("Sunseekers")- If you are looking for a song to just fit your mood for the summer as a calm relaxing sort of hippie like summer. This is your band and song. I know the name is a bit weird, Coke Weed. This band has hit my top 10's surprisingly. I just picture myself sitting outside in the sun with a cup of warm tea and my laptop listening to this song. And if you're not a huge fan of meditating with the music they would play at the spa, this could also be used as a song for meditation.
The Neighbourhood ("Sweater Weather")- I was watching a girl named "Ashhbearr" play this when she was streaming. And it was love at first sight. As you may have noticed I do enjoy me some relaxing music. This has more of a funk to it, it kind of reminds me of "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster The People. Yet, more enjoyable. These are one of those bands, that I have not found one bad song by them. They have a lot more of good songs. So if you don't enjoy this one they have some more you can check out.
Breathe Carolina ("Edge of Heaven")- Okay, so lets say you're a relaxing funk type of person but you can't get rid of your rock and roll music. Okay I got the right song for you here. Though the title is a bit misleading. This song still has the type of beat the other two songs have but this song has more rock persona. Now I know you read the band name and went "What?". Cause this band actually used to be a scene band. This song actually talks about Seven Deadly sins.
Fall Out Boy ("The Phoenix")- Everyone loves Fall Out Boy. Well almost everyone. They make awesome-sauce music, though I can't really pick a favorite, I wanted to put a different song that people haven't seen fifteen million times. Lets say, I was attached to song within the first minute or so. And most songs don't do that.
Ed Sheeran ("Sing")- This song is just... mind-blowing. Most songs like this don't really catch my attention, this song just caught it and never gave it back. I know most people would find this annoying or too hyped up. No, a song that was too hyped was "Happy" by Pharrel Williams. That song drove me crazy and not in the good way either.
That's all for now! My Back-To-School series will start August 18th-21st. There will be a post up here and a video up on my YouTube Channel about Back-To-School products. Don't forget to join the Dorkside, cause we might survive school... Bye Bye!
