Day 3 - October 7th, 2014
I don't really know what else to call it other than I feel disconnected from everything.
The friends I have left in school are in school. They have their own worries and problems to deal with, trying to graduate, and classes and shows. Not to mention that at best they are 7 hours away from me.
The 7 best friends that anyone could have are never going to live near each other again. We'll never really have sleep overs again. And my ended relationship with X has made the whole group dynamic strange, at least to me. I don't want to leave her out for the sake of the rest of our friends but I'm just not over it. I didn't really get the closure I needed from that and I still have no idea how she feels about it.
And in the other half of my life I'm living in a city where the only friends I have are my sister, her boyfriend, and F. But F had to go home for a while and my sister and her boyfriend have their own friends. Friends they have known for years who have real jobs and are real grown ups.
So that just leaves little ole me living in a new city, with no new friends, a couple of almost jobs, and a broken heart.
It's broken from the friends I left behind, from the town that will never feel the same, and from the disconnect. Because I haven't found something to connect to yet.
At least it is finally fall. The season where my soul shines. It cools down and the leaves change color. Every weekend is a football weekend and it's time for boots, plaid, and sweaters. I know that spring is supposed to bring new things but I always feel like a new person when falls rolls around. I think it might be because of the school calendar. It was always a new year in the fall. Always a chance to start over and be someone new.
It's just a little difficult starting over and being someone new with no base.
P.S. These are definitely not going to be daily. I haven't been able to hold on to a daily habit other than waking up ever
