If Vincenzo does decide to be a dummy and like tell Cha Young he's going to leave Korea when everything is done, I hope she surprises him by saying she's coming with. Like he has this whole solemn speech about all the reasons he can't stay, from putting everyone in more danger to getting into legal trouble or being deported, and Cha Young tells him "okay, I understand." And then she asks "So where are we going?"

And he starts to answer, not understanding what she's just said, and then it hits him and he's like "we?" Because he's an idiot!! Who actually thought he was gonna leave her?!? Dummy.

And she just nods and is like "I already said goodbye to you once, I'm not interested in doing it again."

AND IT JUST FLOORS HIM. Like just love and awe all over his face. And he doesn't even THINK about leaving her again, because she's made her choice. It's him. And he's going to respect that.

Things I'd like to see addressed before Vincenzo ends:

Tbh I highly doubt the writer will resolve all of the sub-plots he introduced in just 4 episodes, esp thanks to the pandemonium that is episode 16 and his apparent proclivity for leaving some loose-ends, but I'll just ramble on anyway. (My foolish vincenzo heart thinks maybe this calls for a season 2 heh)

1. Chayenzo's unspoken feelings (This goes without saying but I need them to be vulnerable and honest, both to each other and the audience about the depth of their feelings pls)

2. Chayoung's true inner response to Vincenzo's blood-stained life and how it has changed and why. (Thoroughly unaddressed imo, was hoping for at least one serious conversation between both of them about this)

3. What incident made Vincenzo feel such deep-seated shame about his violent past? (Yet to show the full flashback with that kid in the backseat) How does this shame affect how he views his relationship with Chayoung now?

4. How Junwoo/Hanseok truly feels towards Chayoung. Sincere crush? Or just a fun psychopathic side-show?

5. More insight into Chayoung's relationship with her mother and how her dad neglected her mother. What was it that made her reject her father's values so unequivocally?

6. What happened to Vincenzo's adoptive parents and how did he join the mafia in the first place? Who is Vincenzo's biological father? (It's rather strange that there is literal radio silence on this point)

7. Vincenzo's bewildered reaction to Chayoung's old photos. (What's with that creepy bgm?)

8. What was in the letter Vincenzo's mother wrote to Chayoung?

The above is just a testament to how obsessed I am with this show, flaws and all. The cinematography, direction and impeccable acting are all stand-outs for me. I personally feel like there is so much potential in the story for a season 2!
