The above is an Eastern brown snake that was caught by Brisbane snake catchers. They were called by a concerned client who’s cat had brought it into the house and was found inside the master bedroom at Mount Warren park. Unfortunately the snake did not survive the ordeal but the snake was safely removed and taken to RSPCA wildlife hospital for a checkup, antiobiotics and rhab prior to relocation. It is important for cat owners to not let them free roam for their own welfare but most importantly the damage they do to our native wildlife on a daily basis. never attempt to catch a snake yourself always call a licensed snake catcher
