I used it to paint very rough stucco, and it worked great. You should get a much smaller nozzle, though. It comes with a 515 tip that I found put out way too much paint. I bought tips of different sizes and found that the 311 had a fine enough spray that I could spray from different angles and directions without putting on too much paint and making it run. The hand-textured stucco was covered very well, even in the nooks and crannies. As a sprayer, I was very happy with how easy it was to use and how many features it had. I didn't expect it to be so easy to clean up, but it was. With this purchase, you won't be sorry. There is no preventive MX on these pumps, which is a shame. You should only change the pump when it no longer works. Or when you notice that it is getting weaker. Now, whenever you have a problem, check the back of your manual, which has a troubleshooting tree. Use it WHEN! There's a problem. Don't just replace a pump once a year. Maybe the tip is clogged! Maybe the pressure is too low, and I could go on and on. If you use cheap paint and parts that aren't very good, the parts will wear out faster. Compare that to, say, paint that costs $90 per gallon. Again WHEN something goes wrong. Open your manual, turn to the back, and read the questions about how to fix things. If it says "change pump," you should do that. But a pump that is cleaned right! That is, you clean it all up after every job within an hour or two days, if you're going to work the next day. Depending on how you use pump armour, it could last for years and years or just two weeks. Microcracks can happen in metals, and NDI inspection could find them.
