#7 is important - reaching the ability to do something 12 times in a row without struggle means you aren't working hard enough! I've often started at a lower weight and added heavier weights in the following reps.
Finally did stuff today! It's been a LONG time since I lifted weights and yup my body noticed... No longer lifting 25lb Dumbbells but I'll get back to it

Because I was feeling like something sweet this morning. Banana pancakes with a strawberry smoothie.
Pancake recipe: 1 banana 1 egg 1/4cup oats 1 tbsp psyllium husk 1/4tsp baking soda ¼ tsp cinnamon Pinch of salt
Blend everything together and cook. Simple!
And I am getting my ass back into the gym!
Finally got the nerve to go check out body pump. Awesome class, kept the weights low and did pretty much everything. There was an older lady there (40′s?) and she was hauling ASS. Talk about motivation!
Back to myfitnesspal, back to the gym, back to home cooking, and back to a healthier me! Side note: somehow the scale at the gym says I’m down 10 pounds from the last time i weighed myself? Pretty sure that’s wrong but I’m gonna take it!

Roadtrip stop
Decided to stop by my gym after my lonnnnng drive home from s'toon today. Felt good to sweat it out. Although brief (half hour cardio) it's better than nothing. Headed off to yoga tonight =)
