Ok so there's a ton of background that I don't have to explain rn but basically helsuma (hx) kidnapped them as a child and did a lot of stuff and just sucks and for my Ex's plotline is a kind of overarching villain along with Jeff
And eventually he kidnaps Ex post s8 and threatens to kill them if X doesn't do what he says and yeah he stabs them
(important note Ex can't respawn due to background I'm not explaining rn)
Hx almost immediately gets killed by having his armour destroyed which is good because he sucks massively (ill make a post explaining what he did to evil evil xisuma eventually ok yay)
(as a helsmit he can't respawn and he's just a void blob in a suit of armour and will die if in the open)(Ex isn't a helsmit they can't respawn for separate plot reasons ok yay)
And the Dreamer doesn't like their special little guy dying so revives Ex by combining with them partially which grants Ex respawn makes them have purple sparkles and make their hair fluffier and floaty with some purple mixed in and as they shortly notice in the mirror makes them more feminine for some reason
Ex asks the dreamer why they're a girl now and the dreamer just says that based on Ex's thoughts they thought they might be happier like this and asks if Ex wants it undone she refuses this offer
From hence forth I will refer to Ex as Drex (dreamer Ex) for simplicity
Drex thinks about it for a while and ends up coming out to Wm and tells Hels in the middle of the night before going back to sleep on top of him and X only learns when she bites him for calling her his brother
Unfortunately for everyone in helscraft this only makes her more annoying and now her go to defence is "you wouldn't hit a woman" (they would in fact hit a woman if its her)
She also gets taller because she's a demon and in my hcs females are taller because and now she's slightly less short
If you have any questions I probably have an answer somewhere and yeah being a woman makes Ex happier but no less of a piece of shit
