It’s stinking hot here this weekend although today has been almost 10 degrees warmer than yesterday but my wife’s mother rang to ask if I could help her in the garden. I don’t think she knew that my wife and I were having a mistress and maid morning but my wife responded that she could have “the maid” for a few hours and with that, we got in the car and she drove us to her mother’s house where I found what she wanted was someone to cut her back lawn as her regular maintenance guy was on holiday this week. She didn’t ask for me to be in my maid uniform but she was quite amused and as I was nearing the end of the grass cutting, her next door neighbour came out with a basket of washing. she just waved at us and said hi and got on with her own chores but I’m sure she must have been wondering where my mother in law got a maid to cut her grass!

Such is the life of a sissy maid.

My weekend was spent in male mode working at my wife’s mother’s house constructing a raised garden bed and filling it with a mixture of compost and soil. In our house we have mistress and maid Monday quite regularly but yesterday was a bit different as after I served my wife breakfast and had washed and dried the dishes etc I was told we were heading over to Margaret’s house (her mother) . When we arrived I was handed several punnets of seedlings of winter vegetables and told they needed planting. Naturally I set to work whilst my wife and mother in law sat and drank tea. I’m glad to say it was one of the easier tasks I’ve been given lately and there were no neighbours peering over the fence. My mother in law and my wife were satisfied with my work and my wife has promised a reward later in the week but will not tell me what she has in mind. Such is the life of a sissy maid.
