Very good birthday dinner last night @alimentola #SilverLake. All the plates we ordered were fantastic. Especially loved the Gnoc and Pig in a Blanket. Staff were friendly and were under siege the entire time due to restaurant week. The only down side to the dinner is that the wine arrived after the first plate arrived, a lovely salad framed behind the empty glass. I dig the wine menu. We ordered the Sassella #Nebbiolo, love this wine although the serving temp was a bit hot. Am I being to picky? She was well dressed and mature. A tobacco user no doubt. I approached her from behind and held her bottom firmly. I ran my finger tips along her neck and ever so gently, but deliberately opened her mouth. Her lips, nails and overall complexion was deep ruby. She smelled of smoke & roses, and a freshly re-tared roof. Her legs moved at a moderate pace. Our tongues met with hints of spice and everything nice, red fruits, wood, copper, and mushrooms. Her mouth was soft, silky, acidic, but plenty of grip. She had a finish that seemed to go on forever.
