Eddie feeling a little weak in Detroit 2014 (x)
Pearl Jam was playing at outdoor show in Mesa, Arizona, in 1993, in protest of University of Arizona building an observatory on Native American land. During the show, a University of Arizona student threw a school sweatshirt onto the stage, which Stone, Jeff, and Eddie hung over Eddie’s mic stand, doused in lighter fluid, and set on fire. They then played “Leash” as the shirt burned and the smoke rose into the desert night sky.
Pearl Jam - Kick out the Jams with Mark Arm from Mudhoney, Big Day Out Melbourne 2014

“Mark Arm introduced me to Jeff, and within 5 to 30 seconds I think he wanted to punch me.”
Stone, that’s a hefty 25 second interval can you get more specific
Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament - Interview (Toronto, 1993) (by pjvideoguy)
the interviewer asks some of the most mundane questions but this is a thing i’ve never seen before
Rearviewmirror - Memphis show (2014)
Pearl Jam - Nothing as It Seems - Milton Keynes National Bowl 11th July 2014
““I think we pushed each other, and it drove us to be better at what we did,” Jeff continued. “That was really great for probably the first seven or eight years. After that, it probably wasn’t so great, but we were probably still doing it. Now I’m completely at a point, and I know he is, where we’re doing what we always wanted to do. We’re playing music together. We’re being artists together. Let’s get to know each other as friends, and let’s enjoy this. Let’s enjoy what we’ve worked for. So I’m excited about that. There’s something about just even saying that, that makes my shoulders drop. It feels like there’s just not that underlying tension in your life.””

God he is so cute
how to open a water bottle with matt cameron
1. discreetly open bottle as to not distract others
2. drink tiniest, most insignificant sip from bottle
3. tighten lid on bottle as tightly as humanly fucking possible and place at the corner of table, out of the way
4. become suddenly very thirsty again
5. remove lid from bottle
6. remove lid from bottle
7. remove lid from bottle
8. listen intently to bottle, change grip
9. put muscle into bottle
10. question god
11. question bottle
12. question self, spend some time away from bottle
13. question bottle again
14. “might do it”
15. “might make it”
16. blame bottle, show bottle you don’t appreciate it’s triflin’ ass ways. stare bitterly at bottle until it knows what it did was wrong. (this lasts about twenty whole seconds in the video, mind you)
17. contemplate relationship with bottle, reassess need for bottle in your life
18. give bottle passive-aggressive silent treatment. ignore bottle. go separate ways.
