What does this excuse even mean 😭 this is why I never downloaded Court of Darkness and I'm literally only playing Love 365 now. If only Voltage wasn't so good at writing my type of stories, I would have given up on them after AyaKoi.

I have to say, how pretty are the skies portrayed in the stories! It's yet another reason I love RMD. They manage to capture the readers' attention, not only through their topnotch writing and BGMs, but also the symbolism of skies, flowers, and nature.

So am I the only one who remembers when all of Love 365 Otome Dating Sim games were seperate and actually playable?

I remember playing all of these games daily; Rental Boyfriend, Office Lover, Sweet Scandal, Sweet Proposal, Royal Midnight Kiss, etc. all as separate standalone apps and loved them.

I’m so happy that I was able to play ALL of these before they merged all of these into one app. Scary I know. But they were really good with the way they were.

Feel bad for those who likely won’t ever get to experience them the way they were and are stuck with ads or limited tickets to read like 2-3 dialogue worth of chapters, paying for everything. It really sucks now. So expensive.

People spent so much on those standalone apps too. Imagine waking up one day and seeing it all gone.

I mean just look at these reviews.

There are TONS of them like this. I mean ALMOST ALL.

You’d expect they’d at least provide some sort of compensation/ refund for those who flushed actual money down these apps, but no, no warning or reach out, nothing. They ripped off of so many players. Oh and they don’t respond to anyone anymore nor check reviews from what I’ve noticed so I guess they just gave up.

I don’t know why they felt the need to do this, as they clearly had many players spending money on their apps (MULTIPLE apps) and I don’t think merging and following through with the use of coins in Love 365 did them any better if it were the case of making more money. Its truly sad how they fell off.

Nothing serious by me. I don’t usually see many people addressing what they did either. Likely because new players after this update have taken over so it’s all fine with them. Almost felt i was stuck in some type of matrix as if I’m the only one who remembered how it’s supposed to be lol.

It’s just slightly frustrating not having those gacha games anymore that brought so much nostalgia and fun late nights. All progress and efforts lost.

I wouldn’t recommend supporting a company like this. But oh well. What can frustrated people do except move on lol.

I feel this same pain for AyaKoi. That was hands down the best otome game. The characters, the art, the animation, the story, the CARE put into that game was insane. And one day I woke up, wham bam thank you ma'am no more Ayakashi RR for English speakers! That was genuinely so hurtful I deleted my account and the app and never even tried to go onto the JP server. Since then, I'm wary of going into any standalone games Voltage releases. I just usually wait for the story to come onto Love 365. AyaKoi lives permanently in a corner of my heart and it's disappointing that I'll never be able to learn more about those lovely characters.

i'm honestly heartbroken by the news of ARR discontinuing. especially because there are so many stories and events that have already been released in japan and will just never be localised for us. there was so much i was looking forward to. i cannot begin to express how i feel about never getting to read kyonosuke's route. it's all just too much after how much love i've poured into this game :((((

I don't know how to describe this, but i wanted to share this:

It's like, the ayakashi know when you are sad and you needed them during your fucked up or lowest moments, so they try whatever they can to make you feel better. Like goofing off in their stories, or giving you the SSR card you wanted. For example, things have been messed up for me lately, and the voices in my head will not shut up 24/7 unless i'm asleep. Yesterday, i was desperate, so i used all of the 170-ish diamonds i earned and did 1 pull draws to drag Aoi home. I lost hope the moment i keep seeing R cards, but i kept trying and begged him to come home. Which he did, and made me smile. He came home, and made me feel better even if for a bit. I feel like the ayakashi know what to do during your low times.. only needing to be annoying (in the gacha draw lol) when you're better, because they can feel that you are alright and happy now and have sucessfully accomplished their mission.

For me, voltage should rename Ayakashi: Romance Reborn, to Ayakashi: Comfort Reborn. For the characters are always there for you whenever no one is there for you, or you are at your fucked up moments in life.

Just a random thought i wanted to share.

this is so true. I was super sad during the Toichiro Birthday Draw but seeing his draw made me very excited, and I got 2 SSRs on my first 10x pull. this game is amazing

Apparently Ayakoi (ARR JP) is going to be featured/involved in a TV drama. The drama is about a columnist assigned to write about gourmet stuff. She doesn’t really enjoy eating, so it really sucks for her, but one day she was watching a cute coworker eat and it awakens her hunger LMAO. So she goes around watching handsome guys eat because for some reason that improves her food appetite too.

The MC likes to play games, and Ayakoi official Twitter said Ayakoi is going to be named by name? However, the character featured in the drama is an original drama-exclusive character that is not actually from the game. The official drama PR media doesn’t say much yet, beside the fact that this is the MC’s favourite character (and will appear in daydream sequences I guess).

I’m double-checking the Hideyoshi theory, and I cannot find who this supposed “Monkey from Nakamura” is????

The blogger who posted the Hideyoshi theory said this Monkey character (who is not Hideyoshi) is also Nobunaga’s attendant, so that’s why identities got mixed up, but who is this person????

I can only find “Monkey from Yamanaka” in Shinchoukouki, which is a crippled beggar on the roadside that Nobu just took pity on. Nobu ordered him to be provided a house and food, and it was like some Good Samaritan story straight out of the Bible. It was so weird.

Anyway, this doesn’t sound right. The beggar Monkey was a random charity case, and was just given a house in the nearby village. Yamanaka is not Nakamura. He never got hired either (per Shinchoukouki text). Googling “Monkey from Nakamura” gives me articles about real monkeys and zookeepers or something.

I’m like, yeah thank you person for sharing info, but what is your sources please tell me. They said they were reading from real historical or scholarly materials, which I wouldn’t discredit out of hand, but they don’t say “what” so it’s just a bit frustrating. Its a very interesting claim, honestly, I would like to follow that trail.

I don’t believe this theory is true, but it’s interesting anyway. I want to pursue it just in case it might lead to something useful. Like if Hideyoshi was an Oda vassal from the start why is there all these stuff about him being from some random village in the Taikouki books that he himself sanctioned to serve as propaganda? Wouldn’t it just be better if he’d said “My family have been loyal to the Oda for generations”? Especially since we have accurate and valid accounts of Hideyoshi repeatedly saying how much he was grateful of Nobunaga’s benevolence as lord.
