Just as I struggled with my husband before to build my family and home, I will rebuild my family and home again.

I am Ayat Hamdan,

a mother of four children.

We returned from displacement... only to find my house completely destroyed and burned.

Now, my family and I are homeless. I lost my small project, and my husband lost his job because of this war.

We no longer own anything, except for our hope in God and your compassionate hearts.💖

My children are suffering from severe malnutrition and lack of medicine; their teeth and bones can no longer bear the pain.

And now we are in a danger zone, threatened with evacuation, as shells fall near us, and we cannot flee due to the high cost of transportation.

Our hearts are broken. 💔🐾

A short while ago, we shared our story about two tiny kittens who came into our lives after losing their mother. They were alone in the middle of war, hunger, and fear here in Gaza. We promised to protect them as best as we could, even while struggling to provide milk for our own baby.

Today, I write this with deep sadness… we have lost one of the kittens.

My daughter Noor was deeply attached to her. She cried for hours, holding her little blanket, asking why she had to leave us. In a place already filled with loss, this small soul meant comfort and hope to my child. Losing her has added another layer of pain to our hearts.

Now, only one kitten remains. And I am more determined than ever to protect her.

We are still living under extremely difficult conditions in Gaza — shortages, high prices, and constant uncertainty. Providing proper milk and care for the remaining kitten has become even more challenging for us. But I cannot bear to see another innocent life fade away.

I am asking for your support to help us provide milk and basic care for the kitten who is still with us. Your donation, no matter how small, can truly make a difference in keeping her alive and safe.

Today, these two kittens joined our family after their mother gave birth in my children's closet. Now these kittens have lost their mother, and I am forced to raise them among my children. It is difficult for me to throw them out onto the street to face this harsh world.

These two kittens are now sharing my baby's milk and need veterinary care, which I cannot afford. Please help these sweet creatures.

My daughter Noor woke up to her cat meowing. The cat was in a terrible state. I tried to feed it, but it didn't respond and left her in my arms. My daughter was very upset. Now we have left our city and my children and I are living in the safe areas (Al-Mawasi). I live in a tent in the intense heat without food or cooking gas, and finding water is very difficult. Even internet services are difficult. I cannot communicate and ask for help. Please, life here is unbearable. Help my family.

We are approaching two long years under this brutal war 💔.

A forced displacement pushes the people of Gaza south, crowded into a small area in Al-Mawasi — where diseases and epidemics are spreading 🦠.

As I wait to enter my sixth month of pregnancy 🤰, I collapsed into unconsciousness due to the lack of healthy food.

I was diagnosed with anemia and I still suffer from severe dizziness and rapid heartbeat 💓.

I urgently need healthy food and supplements to keep going and to protect my unborn baby.

Even my eldest daughter, Amal 💔, lost her eyeglasses a year and a half ago when our tent was burned.

I saw her holding back her tears because of the headaches caused by her corneal deviation and not having glasses 👓.

Her eyesight is worsening, while all we can afford is barely bread for survival 🍞.

Our campaign is moving very slowly ⏳.

We lived a tragic story during our displacement to Al-Mawasi. It was and still is in my memory and the memory of my children💔. Tents were burning with those inside them, bullets were flying around us. My children became afraid of seeing the fire🔥. When my son told me, I was going to cry,😭 but I was so afraid😱 that I couldn’t. It was a night like hell for us. I spoke it with my voice in English👩‍🦰, and my husband, the art teacher🎨, drew it to convey the picture 🖼to you and to show you the extent of the fear and pain that we lived through. 😔💔
