Takao-san, Novemver 2016

Takao-san is one of the most popular places for Hiking in Tokyo Prefecture! It is fairly easy to get to by train, it takes around 1 hour from Shinjuku with the Keiō line! You can either hike up Takao-san or take the cable car! There are several hiking tracks in varying difficulties, so there is a way for everyone! The hike offers beautiful views of Tokyo and the surrounding areas, peaceful rest spots, a temple and a restaurant at the top! It is great for single hikers as well as groups and it is famous for its beautiful Momiji - autumn foilage!
