Remembering the good things when you’re stuck on an island
Untilted
The ticking of a robotic heart echoes through the world, cold and ridged never stoping until you drowned in time. Never ending, is this what we've become? Cold husks of our once tender beings? Where do we place love when we are just empty tin cans aimlessly stumbling around in the dark? We reach out in vain looking for something that we really don't even understand. Is that life just bumping into things in the dark hoping it's what we crave most? -Anonymous
All water has a perfect memory and is forever trying to get back to where it was.
Reverberation
Thoughts racing, Harassing the task of writing. Not writing a story, but writing art. Art with notes and slurs, with legato, And da capo. The strings to the ivory keys, Ridicule my thoughts, Like a hypnotist does his berserk patient. Its soft sweet sound in the distance Yet I, a master of this, Cannot compose this simple piece. I tried singing or stringing, then hitting And ended up spinning. None made the sound or rhythms I desired. I struggle to write I struggle to play Yet I still can hear it yonder Every day.

A not so simple song
To be surrounded by the world in one room With just sounds
To learn all of the worlds history With just sounds
Not sounds of people, or the sounds of different languages But the sound of instruments.
To feel all of history’s feelings With just sounds
No words, just sounds of everything that was involved
What an impact to feel, to understand, everyones thoughts and emotion in just music
To impact the world, the listeners with just sounds
Composing this type of music would be a journey A journey of decrypting feelings into a sound that would impact
Barely can describe my own emotions into a sound or a tune is already difficult
But what if… what if we can just learn the greatest moments in just music Just sound

A New Home
My restless soul Needed to go And clear my heavy thoughts. In the cold 4 am night I look up and saw a sight That I haven’t seen for many nights. There the drinking gourd Though I seen it a more It’s always a surprise even so. The night was lit up As I was up And couldn’t help to think “Oh, hey, what’s up!” The sight of the constellation To me needed a proper salutation And also needed a little evaluation. For things were different here My North has disappeared But to observe the night Was quite mere. The lights were bright And planes in flight Distracted the beautiful lights. As I bid a goodbye To the beautiful sky I see something midst That caught my eye. The Northern Lights, ever so dim Could hardly see them They were slim.
Something I wrote as I couldn't sleep because just thinking about school and everything! ahh! school, adulting is happening... argh too much. Oh well I hope y'all like it.
Simple poem because it was 4am, and thought processing is slow #sleepdeprived

A dream... or just a dream
Searching in my dreams I see the spruce and the birds Chasing mountains and never ending sunsets
The longing to be one with the flow of rivers and swim like salmon The sun singing me a song I've once heard before Hard to recollect the words but it's a feeling never forgotten Knowing that you're home
Unmarked trails and untouched by foot Serendipity of smells Peace, hope, wonder, longing Longing to wander into the wild
Hoping if peace will settle Settling in the world as it is now Here where everything is just as so To be the same back home
Wondering if happiness is possible Possible to be anywhere else Or is it only in this place Where things have never changed By the power back there
Praying for peace can be found here For finding it anywhere else Seems distracting from so much So much happening with life That is part of yours and mine
Just all from a distant dream Of range, freedom Good ways...

One with a dispensation without a swan song. To me is the most frightening thing in life. To have stones unturned with someone who is or was a counterpart of my life. Is to what I dream to have an even flow, calm, one way stream down a river. Every turn and every crook is clear for water to pass through.

“Dear”
"You were willing to welcome" Words sounding like forever but turned out only lasting a duration of four. A flame that was just there. Something that just occurred not an idea, just something that lit itself. One cannot control a flame, but one can announce its fire. It can be kept lit or simply put out. Cast it out was what was settled. To do so needs a moment, with pace, a shift. The flame was more, maybe a fire. Fires need undertaking, obligation. Flames cant simply be put out. But you didn't know... Fires you loose things. Clothes, books, furniture, people. Hope.
